Hi All,
I've been reading on the site for a good year now. Never really thought about posting until today.
I work for a reputable sports company. Today we had a New Balance representitive come in and talk about the brand etc. I got talking to him about football, how big they think they can be and the new brand ambassadors.
He mentioned that Januzaj has been dropped as an ambassador. Apparently his attitude stinks and both the brand and United aren't happy with him. He went on to say that he thought he was much better than what he was and that it was his attitude that failed him at Dortmund also. Shame really, a boy with genuine talent but who seems destined to fail unless something changes.
Love the site and the work the Eds do.
{Ed025's Note - if thats true UW hes not the first and certainly wont be the last to become a victim of the trappings of fame and wealth mate, and mixed with youth its a cocktail that will always throw up its fair share of self destruction..

Very true Ed025. I might add that he did in fact state that it will have only made him worse, them throwing money at him for campaigns and him been on such a high wage as a kid. Shame for such a raw talented lad. That's modern football I guess.

Hi all,
We all seem to agree that we in an ideal world could do with 2 CB's. So I was wondering who would you all pick and why?
I'd love to see Manolas and Stones as I believe they'd complement each other well. I think it'll make or break our season with our choice of partnership, having two centre backs that we can rely on and trust is key to success. It's certainly exciting times ahead.

Varane and Marquinhos in an ideal world. In reality one of them and one of Garay or Manolas.

I will take varrane and stones, but stones at a reasonable price and not what is being reported. I believe we will be going for him.

I like Stones, Laporte and Varane. Have a look into Mustafi's defensive stats, his tackles per game are pretty good but his interceptions per game are amazing. Maldini always said that interceptions are more important as a defender.

That would be an ideal window Cypriotenglish.
I think the numbers are off though, did Chelsea not reportedly have a 40 million bid rejected for Marquinhos? Would they both settle straight away and is that partnership a little young?
I also think Athletico value Greizmann between to 60-80 million mark now. Correct or not, they see him as one of the best 3 in the world. He doesn't want to leave (apparently)
I have a feeling we may go for Pogba. I think that and 1 CB would make us title contenders. Anything above that is a bonus.
I think with Blind and Mata been deemed surplus something is going on in the background regarding incomings, hopefully something we hear about shortly.
