What’s are people’s interests for signings in the summer?

For me united definitely need to go out and get a top CB. Koulibaly could potentially be the difference between 6th and 4th. I think Koulibaly and Lindelof who’s come on leaps and bounds this season could compliment each other.

The RB area is a problem for me Dalot is young, he’s looked slow and lethargic with poor defensive play at times. Lack a good ball when he’s had time and space. Hopefully settles in and one for future.

Valencia should’ve gone beginning of last season for me. Young is the best of the 3 in that position, but he’s 33 year old.

My choice would be to go for an established RB in the summer, Meunièr for me.

The RM area is also a big factor. Juan Mata cannot play their and it’s like we’re playing with 10 men and have no width.
Rashford and Martial look poor when played in that position. How come Sánchez hasn’t been playing on the right as much? He used too a lot for Barcelona and was good. Jessie only other option works his socks of chips on but too inconsistent news to play Sánchez or sign someone who will perform in that position. (Bale talk probably start again in the summer) .

Signing Fred was a waste of 50m we could’ve spent elsewhere, why waste 50m on a player that’s not better than your current players when we were in dire straights for a CB?

Hopefully sign a CB in January be a massive boost then sort test out in summer as we know how hard it is to sign in the January.

Hopefully get two peaches like Vidic and Evra again.

Here’s to hoping 😂.

A cb is a must. We have seen what impact a world class cb can make to a team with Liverpool signing Van Dijk. Koulibaly would be my pick. He’s incredible and would take us to the next level. I like skriniar as well and with inter seemingly signing godin in the summer perhaps he may be free to leave.

I agree about rb. Dalot looks promising but don’t think he’s ready to be starting every week. I like Wan Bissaka and Cedric if we are looking for premier proven quality. Meunièr is a player I am a fan of. But I really like Ricardo pereira for Leicester. He was great at Nice a few years back and he’s been Leicester’s best player for me this season. He has pace to burn and real quality on the ball especially attacking wise which is why he’s been played on the wing of late.

I know people like shaw and I do as well but when I watched Robertson the other night it did make me realise the huge gap in quality between the two at this current moment. He needs to be challenged and in an ideal world I would love us to sign chilwell. Looks a great player.

I don’t think we need to change much in midfield and attack. We have talent but they need to be coached into a pattern and style of play. We need another midfielder for sure to rotate with matic who isn’t getting any younger. I like ndidi a lot his stats are fantastic. Doucoure again is a brilliant player. But I think ndombele from Lyon will be special and would look great in a midfield 3 with pogba and matic.

In attack, we need a rw desperately. We are so left sided heavy and it shows when teams sit back. I like Hirving Lozano and Leon Bailey. Not sure who we will go for but I would love someone who sticks on the touchline and crosses to Lukaku all day because he will score a bucket load. Maybe Ousmane Dembele although he has attitude problems. Sancho would do nicely but again unattainable. If Chong is ready I don’t see why he shouldn’t be given an opportunity.

Moving forward - the best thing in january could be extending the contracts, martial, herrera DDG and various key players. Also trimming the squad letting go, valencia, Darmien, bailly, rojo, probably fellaini and would free up space and wages for the summer. Promote a couple of younguns and bring in a topcb koulibaly/ Skriniar. A big big list of to dos but would set us up for what seems like a major change in the summer in terms of manager, hopefully Dof and a couple oftop signings. Sanchez going on the best deal for the club ie free but no subsidy of wages would be like finding a xmas present forgotten about.

CB, RB and RW are a must.

Out go Darmian, Valencia, Rojo, Fellaini and probably Jones.

4.) 05 Jan 2019 20:22:27
Fekir and Kante :) - that would do very nicely .

I wouldn't write off Bailly just yet.
He suffered under Mourinho and deserves a chance.
How many people on here wanted Lindelof sold, some people wanted Rashford gone as well.

Id give bailly a chance. But it looks like were looking for a partner for lindelof and if the likes of koulibaly comes in then bailly is 3rd choice. Will he be happy with that. We know the other 3 are happy with that.

I do agree Mad Hatter. He started his career with us brilliantly but seems to have lost his way. If he can work with the new staff and keep his head then there is a good defender in there. Lindelof I think will be a cracking player for us for many years to come.

Personally I thin the defence lacks an elder statesman, who can be a calming influence for a couple of years whilst the likes of Bailly and Lindelof develop alongside them. We also desperately need to look at our right hand side. Why sanchez is not being played there is beyond me!

8.) 06 Jan 2019 10:34:45
I desperately want us to sign Kieran Tierney. For many Scottish football followers he was the better out of him and Robbo before Robbo went to Liverpool. If KT can bring his Celtic form to Utd then we are talking best LB in the country.

1st thing is to get ddg and martial to sign.
Cb is a must and our no1 priority.
Cm is priority 2 imo. We have no cover for either matic or pogba. Herrera and fred are fighting for that 3rd place. We need better options imo.
Rb would be third on my list. A solid experienced rb that would give dalot the time required to improve he is only 19 and not ready yet to be 1st choice
Priority 4 is rw should mata or sanchez leave it will become a higher priority.
Tuanzebe will hopefully secure a squad place.
I would look to move periera darmian jones rojo valencia fellaini and mata / sanchez on to new clubs.
Ddg / romero
Rb dalot new signing
Lb shaw young
Cb new lindelof smalling Tuanzebe
Cm pogba matic new herrera fred mctom
Attack jessie rash martial new lukaku mata/ sanchez

Looks a decent squad probably a cb and cm short and lb area could also be better. But no squad is perfect.

Cb koudibaly
Cm saul
Rw dembele
Rb wan bissaka.

I know a couple of unlikely suspects and players we are not linked with but they are players i like petsonally in positions i feel we need improving.
Not proven winners really but they all have improvement in them and they are very good players imo.

Id also try to sign ramsey on a free and cahill on a free as its a squad lacking in experience and by all accounts he is a very popular pro. He may not play but is a big influence in last years england success behind the scenes and has had good experience at Chelsea.
