I agree with most people on here saying about not taking our chances!
I feel it is our main problem this season.
I actually feel things are not as bad as the extremes would have you think!
1. We really don't have the worst defence record and have been solid even with the chops and changes due to injuries at the back.
( I feel a lot of our goals conceded are due to stalling on the ball or slow decision making are one of the main problems I see is the front lines loss of possession when the team are pushing forwards and then many teams hit us on the counter attack. )
2. This season we are creating a lot of chances and some people may say pogba is not backing up his fee! Yeah it is a large fee but people were praising him when he was at Juventus and i don't see why this has stop as the stats for him show he is bettering chances created and forward passing complete passes than he had had Juventus. The only problem here is at Juventus he had players who actually take advantage of Pogbas created chances but I feel our players are needing more attempts to score which is just down to being clinical.
(Tbh i think Jose hit the nail on the head when he said about Hernandez. That a player like him would have plenty of goals this season. Its true you count how many times Ibra likes to drop deep and try to create but at the end of the day their is plenty of ability in the midfield to do that and he should be up in the box waiting for a ball. I have lost count on the times valencia and other players have broke out wide have the defence on back foot and put a perfect ball across the 6 yard box but yet no one is their for a simple tap in. We seen last night the benefit of Mkhi just being around that area. )
3. I feel jose hasn't done a bad job we have been let down a few times by players just not finishing or seeing out matches. Jose really has had one transfer window (I never count January ones - hit or miss/ Panic buys) to get his own stamp on the team and to me the signings were smart. I say this summer we will look to add a midfielder (maybe carracks replacement) that can sit there and allow for pogba and herrera to do there thing. Perfect world i'd love Verratti or Bakayoko. Next two signings i would have would be based on how current players finish the season. first up Shaw (LB Area) I hold my hands up I'm a shaw fan think when he's on his game he's fantastic but the question is can he get back to that and also can he sustain it? again i'd love a player like alaba of bayern or alba of barca. The last area i'd look to improve if players don't step up is up top. So we have Rashford and Martial (both who i like and have the ability to become great players) then Ibra. Ibra is Ibra he will get you a goal but to me lately it is taking 3 or 4 attempts to get it. In tight games this can hurt you and then we have Martial and Rashford showing signs of what they can do but not always. So i feel we just need that player who can put the ball in the net. A player who can get the scrapy goals and the nice goals. Obvs like everyone I like Griezmann but there are other players who have been banging them in that i'd say would bring us up a level and help with our build up play such as Lacazette, Aubameyang. A player who can link up but also can dribble and run in behind. I do like players like Kane and Lukaku but as we have seen many times before if you don't play to strikers strengths they can easily flop.
Sorry for the long post guys just thought i'd like to put across a few points.

Did Jose not manage real madrid to there highest ever scoring season in la liga? and he also had a decent scoring goals recorded in his other manager jobs? so I would dis agree with Jose not having flair and attacking prowess in his teams.
He works with what he has in front of him and when he looks to add a player to the squad you can't say that majority of his signings haven't been good players with flair and attacking prowess?
I just feel a lot of people are mislead with the media into taking up an opinion on Jose.
Even if I don't agree with some of his tactics or starting 11s I can still see he has improved united far more than the last few seasons and I feel it is only a matter for adding 2/ 3 more players until Jose gets the team he wants.
{Ed025's Note - jose has changed as a manager and as a person over the past few years belfast, when he came to the EPL he was a breath of fresh air he was funny smiled a lot and his team had flair, unfortunately he has now become a miserable, moaning sod and falls out with players , owners and other managers at the drop of a hat, he has lost his mojo for me and has turned into tony pulis with an attitude mate..

completely Agree! I feel we have the ingredients to have an effect press as we have seem glimpses of.
Another point i would said is our use of playing as a team. For me there is times that people need to provide simple football moves like over lapping runs and also player on the ball needs to provide the pass to them because there's nothing worst that busting a gut to make the run and then not receive the ball. That is probably one of the main reason players stop making them.
I would also love to see the team cut out the 5 passes it take stop switch play when there's times 1 pass or even 2 can get the same outcome. Its all about the speed of play. Excellent example this year is Chelsea . how quick they switch the play when they can't get down one side of the pitch is perfect and it seems that the whole squad has it drilled into them.
We have a bit of a foundation here and its time to build on it!

I hate seeing the *lets blame pogba posts everywhere*
The thing that annoys me most is when players like pogba who even in the last match set up excellent chances for players to score but they don't.
Two Examples.
The two 40+ yard passes that found Rashford and Ibra but both players scuffed their chances.
Pogba can't do anything about the fee paid for him but he is a midfielder who's soul job is to pass, create chances and chip in with goals.
Our main problem is our finishing chances and that goes for the whole squad not just singling out one player.
Tbh i feel we are going in the right direction with jose lol yeah he may be crazy sometimes but I think he has a plan and has players already selected to improve us.
