Hi all

I'm happy with the news regarding Mata. Its about time we got some elite level talent added to the team. I mentioned the possibility of Mata a few days ago - the talk I heard involved a Rooney swap situation. Tbh I'm happier with this outcome, unless that changes in the summer. Despite the loss tonight - Moyes will be given time. He is building a new team which will likely see a shift to a different style of football.

In transfer rumour news. Info passed on from inside suggests that 2 more may come in. Look for a proper midfielder. Vidal is a name that keeps on being pushed to me. Not sure about the finer details. Also - I had info claiming Ander Herrera could be done soon.

1.) What's your source, without it this is just a collection of newspaper gossip!

2.) To be fair to bigredf he said mata could happen. I can beleive that sauces from clubs won't give a lot away. the less controvertial it is the more beleivible it is imo

Hello,

I had some info today - again nothing 100% definite or too controversial but thought I'd share. With the Anderson deal very likely to go through now, the club is apparently making firm arrangements for two incoming players. When I say 'firm arrangements' - this means transport, relevant paperwork/admin, medical aspects, and required security/logistics etc.

The voice from within says one of these is Fabio Coentrao - who is likely to arrive as a loan (with a view to buy) deal. This still depends on Madrid however. Furthermore, and perhaps more surprising to me, was potential talk of a deal involving Rooney and Mata. It has been said that with Rooney's contract situation, the risk involved could force the club's hand in the matter. Definitely something I will try to find out about in more detail. Even if things develop and do not involve Mata, the Rooney situation on its own is definitely something of a concern as far as I have been told.

Again - none of this is definite. Thanks for the welcome and good debate :-)

1.) Anderson is a loan to fiorentina. You didn't mention that in your itk post.

2.) I thought it was obvious - but I mentioned Anderson at the start?!

3.) What are you on about? Moyes won't be interested in mata he has too much technical ability. We would more likely sign Gareth Barry to compliment cleverly. Be like having the chuckle brothers passing sideways in midfield. To me to you.

4.) Lets be honest Rooney for Mata swap makes sense. Rooney unlikely to be here next season as he seeks a new challenge - what he reportedly wanted last close season if you believe SAF / Phelan.

As for Mata he's a great little player who obviously needs first team football prior to the World Cup.

It may be that neither United or Chelsea would prefer to sell to each other but bottom line is this could be a go-er.

And that's not ITK its just a person with eyes!

5.) I can see the Rooney deal being a worry, but am confident we would run down his deal instead of selling him to another English club.

Hi. I'm not going to claim anything will be 100% true etc - that is just not realistic. I just think it would be cool to share some info as and when it comes through.

This may not be anything new - but I have heard through a source within the club that the deal for one of vidal or pogba may not be out of the question for this transfer window. It would involve nani potentially going the other way (with of course some cash as well). Moyes did not travel to Italy for no reason, and this signals that a deal is very possible.

Also (although no surprise) expect Nick Powell and Jessie Lingard to be given a chance in first team soon - based on the success of Adnan. Moyes has faith in some of the youth at the club - which in my opinion is not a bad thing!

Take care & may see some of you at the weekend ;-)

1.) Nice post and nothing too contraversial! can't see a pogba return tbh but would love Vidal, ideally now but even in summer. Powell seems to be coming on well according to rossler, looking forward to seeing him back in the fold next season after a full season loan.

2.) I'd be a little more inclined to believe this if it weren't for the strong rumours linking Nani with a move to Lisbon.

3.) Maybe one for the conspiracy pages. But maybe the rumours linking nani to Lisbon are only being generated to hurry Juve up?
I can dream!

4.) Thanks. As I said - just sharing info, even though it is not that controversial etc.

I am not too sure about Nani to Sporting Lisbon? I have not heard anything about this - but will try to investigate lol :-)

One thing I have learnt about football and the many sources over the years is they can often circulate info which suits club interests as well. As I said - I'm just trying to provide some info I have been given!

5.) Moyes is the perfect manager to promote youth into the first team the likes of the Keane twins, Wilson, Lingard, Pearson, Powell and Pereria will start to filter through to the first team and if they all live up to expectations then that is 200m+ of talent that we have nurtured rather than brought and that's always the best way not just financially but for moral and loyalty and togetherness

I think the player you mean is -
José Manuel Flores Moreno?

He is more commonly known as Chico Flores - but plays for Swansea

Hope that helps

Moyes was at PSG to apparently view a range of players and also discuss the availability of others in the squad. I have heard of interest in Lucas Moura (which was true in the past as well) but not sure if this info is very reliable for a deal at this point or in the future.

To a certain extent I have to agree with Ed004. Vidal and Coentrao are targets. I have no info to say Garay is a target - he is being used as a smokescreen imo
