Ed´s I know it is hard but is there any true about the rumours of bringing Harry Kane to the team? I don´t think that in January would be possible, but at least for the next transfer? Thanks.

carlos1205

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so.}

Thank´s for the answer, to bad I believe he would be a great solution to our lack of goals problem.

{Ed002's Note - It really isn't as simple as that.}

At the beginning of the transfer market I read than we could sing Cavanni. Is that completely off the table now?

I'm not sure LVG is into serenading possible targets.

2.) 21 Aug 2015 17:46:36
At this stage, it's more likely to sign Ibrahimovic rather than Cavanni.

Quality banter Monkeyballs!

Don't want either of them at Utd. Good players but not the future. Short term solutions that will cost a lot, so little value.
Others will disagree but these aren't the type of Stella signings that I want to see at Utd.
Younger players that we can mould into a team

if and only if! united win the remaining 5 matches, these is how i predict the top 8 table would end after looking the next games. (yes i'm hoping we beat leicester)

team pts
leicester 82
tottenham 77
arsenal 75
manchester united 71
city 68
liverpool 67
west ham 63
southampton 57

to optimistic?

Way too optimistic on us and leicester will not win 3 out of four and will do well to get 5 points from their remaining fixtures if you ask me. Spurs are the team to watch and i can see them winning all their remaining fixtures.

2.) 20 Apr 2016 12:33:46
I think more chance of arsenal dropping out than city. I think 4th spot will be between us and arsenal. West ham is our last game and. that's not going to be easy.

3.) 20 Apr 2016 15:12:05
Bournemouth is our last game!

After the last 4 matches I decided to do a little research to find out in what position we could finish at the end of the season.

Today we have 47pts and there are 10 matches remaining. That means there are 30pts to play for. assuming we won all these matches we would finish with a total of 77pts.

After looking the last seasons results up to season 1994/ 1995 there have been just 3 seasons in which the champion have less than 80pts. And with that total of 77pts (in average) we would finish in the 3 spot of the current season.

The good news are that if we lose 6 points of these 30pts we would keep the 4 spot.

The great news are that in the 96/ 97 season we could be champions all do we were with just 75pts.

In conclusion I think we would end 4. 3 if somehow we keep these winning streak.

This season is odd though. If you're bored I'd like to know of the link between the number of points for 4th bottom and the number of points for 4th. Logic points to the lower points total at the top relating to the higher at the bottom. Do you know Spearmans Ranking Corelation Coefficient?

Interesting thing is we have Leicester, Citeh and Spurs to play plus Arsenal vs. Spurs this weekend.

Top 4 is possible and with a better squad/ manager the league would be possible.

Need to keep winning.

utd road our problem under lvg has not been beating city or spurs but rather beating the likes of norwich, westbrom etc we always play well against other big clubs its against the likes ofwestbroms and norwich that we struggle.

I would start but saying that no matter what I would always support MU, that been said I must express my concern ahead of next week 3 matches. if we continue playing like yesterday with that lack of personality and love for the jersey, we could easily be gone of 2 more competitions and give a big chance to Arsenal to win the title. big changes must be made.

IMO yesterday´s game was the best LVG game so far, If they could play like that every game we could fight for top 4 or even the title. I just got a question of last night´s game.
How is Mata´s head shape ^?

Ps: I'm joking.

It was a great performance and one that left me scratching my head.
Over the past few months, I think many fans - myself included - have become disillusioned with the performances and style of play. Speaking for myself, I lost sight of the fact that we have some top players in our squad.
Last night we saw a team full of good players playing at a much higher level than we have been seen all season IMO. And because of that, we were able to brush an inferior team to the side, playing high tempo football.

Something must have gone on behind the scenes. The players look happier, hungrier and playing with confidence.

If we can maintain that level for the rest of the season, we will win a lot more than we lose.

2.) 03 Feb 2016 15:49:06
i think this is a decent squad we can put out a strong first 11 imo.
all players go through good and bad spells but on paper its a good team.
the trick is getting them players to play as a team and play well.

Couldn’t agree more! I´ve always that LVG must be a City fan by the way he is ruining MANCHESTER UNITED

I believe Ronnie is talking about Aubameyang and the new rumour bid of £60 million.

I would also go for Griezmann all day but I don't think neither of both would happen.

Good result. DDG result!! All do the first half was probably the worst united performance I ever see. Before some of you attack me I've all ways and would all ways support United no matter what, but that first half was hard to watch. In the past I have expose my unconformity with LVG manager stile I wish we have a more passionate manager but for the firs time I complete agree with LVG changes. the first 2 where great all do I would have change Schneiderlin rather than Carrick. I guess McNair was a "get some minutes" change. I believe that early second half goal change the pace of the match but luckily we can have more results like these one. Great to have DDG on the team he is the best goalkeeper in the world!! The first goal he almost get the second attempt out nothing to do there. the second goal just proves what the PSV match show. we have some important defence problems that need to be settle. The rest of the match he was flow less as always!. Great for Martial. GGMU!

It doesn´t matter what forward we buy or "9" we get in the box. As long as they don´t receive clear chances they won’t score. It is just a matter of changing the football mentality. The one and only clear chance Rooney have he scored, and the referee made the wrong decision.
