Don't post that often, but check in every hour or so to catch up on any news, gossip or in the hope of a little bit of info from the eds. There is not a day goes by that I think of something to ask, but before I do I check if it's been done before, nine times out of ten it has. Upon reflecting on other questions some of them are daft so there is no point in asking them.

I really can't understand the mentality of some posters asking the same questions over and over again, or a daft madcap question that suddenly appears in their head.

At times it seems some ask just to see how much they can the eds. Are they supporters of other teams masquerading as its fans or are they just total idiots.

Any way even though I don't ask many questions I wish to thank other posters and especially the eds for providing the answers and for giving their time. The majority of us that use this site are ordainary people with a bit of gumption it's a pity that the twats still try to ruin it for the rest of us. It would be great if people just took a step back and maybe use the search function before they ask something senseless.

It is great to be looking forward to a new season with a bit of confidence and belief. Let's hope it's a good one.

I would love a demograhical break down of the posters who keep harassing ed002.

I suspect we might see a trend in terms of age. I blame social media for a generation of "I want it now! No I don't read! If it's not on Twitter I am not interested! ".

Just use the search function, that's what it's there for. Let's have more banter and less agro!

Guys, just because pep is going to city doesn't mean anything changes with us. Like it or not Lvg has another year left and with the man being as rigid and set in his ways (arrogant ) as he is he will probably see out the contract.
Don't be getting hung up on Jose coming in either because that is only a pipe dream.

I think PEPs a bit like José in 3 to 4 years he'll get bored and be off.

Much needed win today, you could tell it meant a lot to the players the way they congratulated each other at the end. So a big congrats to the boys, let's hope we can keep it up.
There is something I've been wondering for a while, not having seen may live games lately just watching on MOTD, maybe some of you guys who have been at matches or saw full games can tell me is there much interaction between Giggs and lvg because from what I've seen it looks a bit awkward . I don't mean to be looking for situations but just curious.

Massive game today obviously. I wasn't overly confident going into the stoke game, expected us to lose but for some reason I think we will beat Chelsea today. Maybe just maybe the hurt the hurt will drive then on today. 2-1 to United!

Costa will be a big miss for them, hazard if he plays worries me. As bad as it sounds I think we need to go back to being compact. Bastian is back I think so I'd play him and Morgan/ carrick, stay tight and 1-0 would do me fine. Confidence is a big thing and any win will do with a home game coming next against Swansea we could be right back in the mix.

Hi folks, just wondering as to why the transfer window is open until four weeks into the season?Surely it would be more benefical for both clubs and players to have end closer to the start of the new season.
Also would it also make more sense for all teams within uefa to have the same dates for the closures of windows?
It would simplify transfers for both players and clubs alike.

{Ed002's Note - It is not possible - leagues begin and end at different times.}

Being from Ireland always supported Celtic as my second club. As a child growing up supported utd my dad was an arsenal fan. I remember us being relegated in 74 which I took awful bad I was devastated. I remember my mum buying me a Qpr mug, must have changed allegiance but that only lasted a few months soon back supporting United filling scrapbooks with photos and newspaper cuttings all the daft things a child done back then.
