Great result and great to get the 3 points but boring to watch. RVP the only player we had on the pitch today who is exciting to watch. I would like to see Zaha Kagawa and Anderson start in the next match but believe Moyles will probably go with the conservative approach again for at least the next 3 games. Miss the days when we used to tear teams apart with speed and creativity. On a seperate note bit miffed by all the sudden praise for Welbeck. Yes he took his goals well but need to see this type of form over an extended period, not just a flash in the pan.

1.) Mate would you rather be boring and get results or play exciting football and lose?

2.) We won 4-1 away from home, you are clearly a moron.

3.) Caolan, I agree 100%. I remember last year an office mate used to constantly say "this is the worst Manchester United team I've ever seen, you lot will win nothing".

I'll take the "worst team" as long as they're lifting hardware at the end of the year.

4.) I would rather exciting football and win like we used to do. if it means we don't have the players to do that then get them in

5.) I disagree. I wasn't bored at all. I thought they pressed the ball well and made some very good situations if not always chances. Cleverley still isn't the answer though.

6.) Mate was u watching the game or a sleep most of it it was good stuff to watch at times 4 goals and people still moan and it was against a hard side away from home get real for god sake some people never happy as saying u miffed by wellbeck he had agood all round game not his biggest fan but watch out for him this year mate wake up lol

1.) Rooney has real hair now. It's his neck hair. Still real hair.

2.) Shellfish? Mr Connery, it's an honour to meet you.

3.) Shellfish was a result of one too many sherbets

Rio's Testimonial tonight.
Positives - Butner surprised me as not his biggest fan. Januzaj was absolutely brilliant. This boy has to get plenty of game time this season. don't agree with those who say too much too young. Anderson looked good running at the defence. Still looks like he could drop a few pounds though. Phil Jones looked strong in the middle when he came on and Zaha looked sharp.
Negatives - Cleverly looked one dimensional which disappointed me as I fancied him to do well at the start of last season. Valencia did not look fit. Smalling still does not convince me and his positioning is awful. Kagawa had an absolute mare and really needs to sort his life out.

What about having a crack at getting Michu. He was great last season and if Rooney does go then he would be more than adequate. Also would prefer to sign Luke Shaw rather than Baines. Fellani would add some steel to the midfield and I would be pretty happy if we got these 3. As for who I would let go Welbeck, Butner, and Rooney, who looks almost inevitable. I would give Nani and Anderson one more season then got to cash these two in if no improvement. don't know what it is but have always really liked Anderson and reckon if he sorted his fitness out he can be class. My team for the start of the season from the current squad is.
De Gea
Raphael Evans Jones Evra
Zaha Carrick Anderson Nani
Kagawa
RVP

1.) Problem with Nani is he is in the last year of his contract so will have no sell on value next year

2.) Why would you want to get rid of Büttner? He looks to be one for the future for sure!

3.) Couple problems. Michu and Shaw just resigned with their clubs. Nani is in his last year of contract and if Ando has another season like the last few, his value will keep on dropping. And we would still be light in quality at CM.

we will not sign cesc we will not ronaldo. believe the second coming of can't win anything with kids is on the horizon. can't wait to see zaha lingard and jqnuzai. these boys are hungry and include thelikes of jones raphael evans de gea little pea then we have loads of young playefs. yes there is crap to get rid of but would love to see the young lads get a chance this year. will make it more exciting and I personally don't care if we don't win anything this year. just want to see exciting football again. not the boring crap of the last two seasons. kids give enthusiasmthe

norn iron

1.) You don't care if we don't win anything this season? We probably won't with a turtle playing right back.

2.) Well said! I'd just temper your sentiments a little though by saying Moyes needs to be careful how he introduces those players so as not to damage their confidence or risk injury.

that said, youthful naievity can be an asset in itself and these players are in positions where mistakes are perhaps less crucial than elsewhere on the pitch.

if Moyes thinks they're good enough he should play them ahead of young, nani and Valencia who have failed to take plenty of opportunities already

3.) Mate I am 100% with you

4.) I would love to see the youngsters play, but only if they're good enough. Januzaj will be good but not ready. Lingard might do a job for us. Zaha will need a season to settle but I think he will be a very good player.
I think Moyes needs to sign a defensive midfielder soon, otherwise we will be exposed.
If we don't buy anyone, then keeping Rooney is a must.

Read an article about it a few years bag. Many factors are taken into account. European matches, domestic cup draws, 2 big clubs in close proximity not playing home same time due to policing etc, distance teams and fans have to travel to matches such as not going to send spurs to Newcastle one week and then Sunderland the next. All these factors and more are loaded and one bloke runs an algorithm to determine the fixture list. So the draw as such is only random to a small degree. Obviously the draw will be different each year due to relegation/promotion and cup qualification
