Ed was reading that United might make a late bid for alexes sanchez as they see him better value than perisic just wondering if you know of any interest from United thanks.

Sanchez is a mercenary and will choose the club who pays him the most. City will just keep adding more money on top of what we offer.
Arsenal would probably prefer to sell to City as Arsene hates Jose with a passion. Add the fact we have no confirmed interest.
Have to say it's extremely unlikely, but if we did become interested then we may be able to stand a small chance.
The new Manchester United number 7, and I do believe he was a fan as a child. Means nothing these days mind. So I'd be surprised.

If an absolutely world class player like Bale or Sanchez become available, great. But I don't want us to buy another attacking player just because. Perisic, Mahrez, no thanks. I think we're fine for this season, and have the option for Griezmann in january or next summer. If an opportunity comes up, take it, but I don't want us buying just for the sake of it, especially if the player doesn't improve our starting XI. For instance, I don't know if either Perisic or Mahrez starts over Mickey, Mata, Rashford or Martial. I doubt it, and therefore, we don't really need them, especially at those prices.

We need a proper winger and one like Sanchez able to play of both wings is a real asset. Additionally I would love to see Bale here too. Can you imagine Sanchez Bale Lukaku up front salivating at the thought but I know it's most unlikely. Unless Madrid sign someone I can't see Bale being released. Sanchez I think will fancy playing with City whose attack is very strong and style will suit him and he is probably more likely to win the titles he craves with them than us at the moment.

It's concerning that this is the case. Looked like Herrera was going to be a key part of the side moving forward. Hopefully things will be patched up between Jose and him.
This summer seems to be gradually changing from building on the squad we have by adding 3 or 4 to having to add 7 or 8 to improve the team and replace players who could be leaving.

Ander told the media that the game against city was our biggest game of the season when Jose has been trying to play it down as just another 3 points and wants the players to see every game as the same importance, 3 points is all that matters.
I've no idea if this is the reason but Jose was asked the question directly in an interview and seemed to suggest Herrera was wrong, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this is the reason.

That's exactly where I went with this GDS2 I saw the MNOur interview afterwards where he said Herrera said that because he tells the players every game is the most important.
Concerned Ander was screwing up his mind games before the derby by giving it a bit of a war cry. Seems a shame as I can see what both are trying to achieve but communication has to be better of course to provide an allied front. Surely this is something that can be reconciled.

Was reading the fact that juva and real won there league titles that the winner of the europa League automatically qualify for the group stages with out a playoff does the Eds know if this is true.

Edoo1 was wondering what your opinion is on angel gomes as I know you follow a lot of the younger players.
{Ed001's Note - he has been mentioned a few times as a youngster to watch out for by youth coaches to me. I haven't seen a lot of him myself to be honest. However he is just 16 and has only been playing at U18 level in the main, so it is difficult to judge him. At that level you are playing against teams that are often makeshift, as players are moved around etc. Sometimes you do watch one match and a player shines like a beacon, then you watch them 20 more times and they are crap. When you investigate further, you find out their opponent on that good day was a youngster being played completely out of position to learn something and was on their first game at that position. Angel Gomes, however, I have been told has got 'something'. Just have to hope he is more focused than his cousin was.}

To be honest Demi Mitchell at left back impressed me more yesterday. Dealt with Zaha quite easily and tormented them with overlapping runs. Has great pace, crossing a dn vision was good and ball control and skills were also good.
He is a left winger who has been converted to left back only this year and looks like he has learnt quickly. A position in which we are short and one to watch out I think.
{Ed001's Note - difficult to say when youngsters swap position due to not being good enough in their previous role like that. Sometimes they let their heads drop and their career fades out early. Other ones fight back against a setback and work harder to learn their new role and show they have a future. Mitchell seems, so far at least, to be one of the latter.}
