Hi folks anyone hear any more regarding Rooney? has there been any offers or is Moyes going to try to talk him into staying. Watched him last night he looked very ordainary and uninterested even though he wasnt playing in a utd jersey.

red paddy

1.) He's a disgrace. His attitude is disgusting. He's a great player there's no denying, but he's never going to reach his pinnacle with this petulant, self-important attitude he has.

And if he wants to leave we should let him. Unfortunately the way he has gone about wanting a move is way too public and he's probably just above halved his value. Potential buyers can probably chuck in 25/30 mil and get a deal.

If he u-turned and decided to stay, I think he'd possibly be the most unpopular Manchester United player ever.

If we're one thing, we're loyal, and we on the terraces expect loyalty in return.

One love. One United.

2.) Rooney hasn't been himself for some time now (few years) he's past his peak, has lost bags of pace he used to have (remember them big bursts he used to make).

i think its time he moved on to pastures new unless he can rediscover his form and get as fit as a racing horse

3.) Last I heard, he was still an odious twunt.

Yipee, Falcao coming to OT.At last we have a team sheet to put the fear of God in to teams even before a ball is kicked.
Pushing it now but a quality CM would be the icing on a very big cake.
Don't know if it is heaven or dreamland I'm in.
Thankyou Mr WOODWARD you mightn't be that bad after all!:)

Want to wish Kawaga and Hernandez the best of luck in the future I am sure they will both do really well for their new clubs.
Now the dreaded transfer deadline day has finally arrived, still not sure if I love it or hate it eitherway it is going to consume my whole day tomorrow.
Hope and pray that we all get a nice suprise and that we don't end up dissapointed and fustrated.
Come on MR. Woodward you have a great chance to redeem urself, don't let us down pls:)

Well folks the transfer window is drawing to a close, just 3 very long days to go now and we are still none the wiser as to what will happen.
Regarding the transfers in, will there be another Berbatov type deal, last minute?
Who will we end up getting and what day will it happen?

Regarding outgoings
Who will be leaving?
Where will they end up?
When will these deals take place sat, sun or monday.
Whatever way the next few days pan out they are going to test the emotions of us all.
At least we can look forward to this season with more confidence than last!

Really impressed with Giggs today at the press conference, he has taken the bull by the horns, the passion that we were missing over the past number of months is back.
Tomorrows game has a cup final feel to it, it's a long time that I've been looking forward to a game with any sort of confidence.
Any of ye that are going to it are blessed.
Hope you really enjoy it, the atmosphere will be truly amazing.
Come on United!

red paddy

1.) Same here. It's been awhile now since I really looked forward to a United match. It may not be a spectacle but I am expecting the lads to at least try to put on a show. Our football has been dismal this season, even more disappointing than the results, and I get the feeling that many are expecting glimpses of our past today. Ryan loved the charge forward, so let's hope we see some of this in the next few weeks!

Sorry didn't finish last post .
How in the name of God can a team concede so many penalties in a match remembering there could have been five.
The only reasoning for this in my book is either no concentration or a complete lack of confidence or interest.
We all are hinging our bets on next year with at least five players coming in with an expected outlay of 100 mil, personally I would not give Moyes a penny as he will screw that up too.
Time to go Davy boy and replace him with someone who knows how to handle expectations, pressure and someone who can both give and receive respect of top footballers ensuring we as a club get back to where we should be.

red paddy

1.) No one at the club wants to play for Moyes but they want to play for the club. Similarly our targets will want to play for the club but not Moyes. It's going to take some good negotiating to work around these problem.

2.) Fresh, mate, some of them quite obviously are not playing for the club. Playing for the club, means playing for the fans and what the club represents, regardless of who the manager is, or whether they like him or not. It's called being a professional.

3.) Everyone from the manager to the players are underperforming.
Stevie, I honestly think that the players are confused! The fans don't know what the management are trying to do and neither do the players. They look so disjointed and without direction.
The fans can support as much as we like, bit the players need a plan and they need to believe in a plan to implement it.

4.) The players will not give that extra effort for something they don't truly believe in. They are being professional but motivated teams unified together in something they believe in will nearly always beat a bunch of professionals. We need an inspirational leader to bring us together and take the team forward.

5.) They should believe in the fans who pay good money to go and see them. 70000 people backing you to win, should be incentive enough to go the extra yard.

Brilliant post shappy it is like a breath of fresh air reading this.Recently a lot of posts seem to be written for the sake of it.
This gives us all a clear insight in to the way LVG thinks and operates and the reasons for him not wanting certain players like Kross etc.Again well done!

Totally clueless, no idea what system to play against most sides.Camera panned on Moyes late into the game and he's just sitting there like a half dead pigeon. Why the hell is he not jumping up and down on the touch line trying to gee up his team?
He sticks Clevery into a midfield in a game of this importance, Fellani has turned out to be a waste of skin, and DM tells us that he has plans and ideas for the future, well here is a plan David take yourself and your brilliant back room staff for a good walk and don't come back before you finish destroying this magnificent club.
The thought of him getting 100 mil to spend in the summer scares the hell out of me, god only knows what he will buy, and even if he did manage to secure a few decent footballers he will f*** them up too.
One final rant, his post match comments we never turned up or we just didn't play, christ you would swear he was managing a schoolboy team not Manchester United!

Jred I don't buy into this at all.
Firstly there is a hell of a difference in the Utd squad And the Liverpool squad of last season. The main one being that we are a squad of winners and a team with a never say die attitude that was instilled by SAF.No disrespect to pool but what have they won lately.
How can a team loose these qualities that they had in abundance?
Granted we all knew that there was the need for personnel changes but none of us could of envisaged the collapse and capitulation that we are currently witnessing.
Looking back to Sundays game
