10 mil for Adnan snap off their hand.

1.) 13 Jul 2017 00:20:45
All the best to the lad. So much promise unfulfilled. Hope he can get back on track in Spain. His farewell message was a nice touch albeit came across as a little bitter by referencing "some of the coaching staff"; clearly some people he has issues with and I'm guessing this is Jose and staff.
In today's prices £10m is nothing! Iheanacho is going for 2.5 times the price.

2.) 13 Jul 2017 07:48:01
Totally over hyped. Not the first and won't be the last.

3.) 13 Jul 2017 09:07:26
Iheanacho is more than 2.5 times better than him that is why. Talent wasted and we are lucky to get that amount for him, hopefully the funds raised will allow us to finalise with Perisic.

4.) 13 Jul 2017 09:52:39
Remember when PSG were willing to pay £40 million for him.

5.) 13 Jul 2017 11:12:50
We've done well getting that much for him. It's good to see we've started getting decent fees when selling. Maybe it's the market or maybe Woody is proving to be a good negotiator.

6.) 13 Jul 2017 11:22:37
Was that in the Daily Star?

7.) 13 Jul 2017 11:29:14
Psg would never have paid 40m for him.

8.) 13 Jul 2017 14:41:27
It was just before he signed his contract in 2013 when we made him the highest paid teenager in the world. I think Rashford and Sanches are currently the highest paid teenagers these days but it begs the question, does paying them so much ruin them.

9.) 13 Jul 2017 17:55:00
It can do grim.

A quick question for any edds about,
Would it be possible for a club to put a clause in a contract to stop them going to a rival, or even to a PL club for a set period of time. Just thinking maybe this is why we are waiting for a certain special one.
A manager i once had was sacked and as part of his severance deal was that he could not manage another buisness in a 20 mile radius.

1.) 05 Feb 2016 18:54:45
Maybe Mourinho wants to wait till the summer. Pre season to get his ideas across, enough time to assess the squad and a summer window to get his players in.

2.) 05 Feb 2016 19:09:11
Not without the agreement of the particpant.

In the case of your old manager he will have agreed to that clause and as such probably got a larger severance package for doing so.

Under EU law you cannot enforce such a clause on someone without their consent. Its against the restriction of trade laws.

So if such a clause is holding Mourinho back from signing with United then it is only doing so because Mourinho agreed to such a clause as part of his exit from Chelsea.

3.) 05 Feb 2016 21:46:47
We sort of did that with Kenyon. He went on gardening leave for a bit. I think its been done before with managers just not made public.

4.) 05 Feb 2016 22:59:57
Just a mad conspiracy theory that came to me today!

5.) 05 Feb 2016 23:20:04
None compete clauses are very common in business although I have no idea whether they are in football. I suppose with football clubs becoming more and more like businesses it would not surprise me.

6.) 07 Feb 2016 09:22:33
I think Mourinho wants to weigh up his options before taking a new club over, plus all the negative stuff that was coming out about him before he got sacked will of died off by then.

Ed what's the score with valdes? Tell me that lvg is not thinking of keeping him on. Ideal number 4 but no more than that! he's been training with us for a while its concerning me .

{Ed002's Note - Valdes is out of contract, returning from a lengthy lay off from injury and looking for first team football. If Manchester United lose Lindegaard and Valdes can prove his fitness, a short-term contract might suit all given he has been training with the squad. Liverpool had approached the player but Rodgers put his foot in his mouth over any possible deal.}

1.) Thanks ed i just hope de gea stays and signs a new contract i hope we are not looking at valdes just in case!

{Ed002's Note - Valdes will be related to Lindegaard.}

2.) Thank god!!! Cheers again ed

Just spoke to a mate in spain who claims united rep in bilbao regarding muniain! Not sure if he's a prem player? Are any eds aware of this.

1.) 27 Jan 2014 15:09:44
I wish this were true. He is a top top player. 21 reminds me a bit of Davide Silva but quicker. He will only improve and is regarded as one of the best younsters in Spain

2.) He's stagnated somewhat over the past few season. Still a good player with a lot of potential. Could only be a good signing if it's around the £20m mark.

3.) If there is a rep there the they may be discussing Herrera

4.) He is working for Spurs. Boy wanted by Spurs.

There's a great write up on OGS on the bbc website, well worth a look.

Guys, can we just remember the edds are helping us with insight and information, please read the pages, and try not to ask daft questions.

08 Sep 2018 21:08:17
That did not look good, I really hope that luke Shaw is ok. Jose looked very concerned.

1.) 09 Sep 2018 04:32:40
reports saying he is up and talking, hope he will he okay for Watford.

2.) 09 Sep 2018 14:29:11
Doubt he will play in Watford game. Why take the risk. Expect Young to play and give Shaw another week to recover fully.

3.) 09 Sep 2018 16:41:00
With a head injury no chances should be taken.

26 Jan 2018 20:17:13
Martin keown what a weapon. Bitter bitter bitter.

1.) 26 Jan 2018 20:43:08
Totally agree what a tool keown is.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 20:44:14
Yh he's such a tit, not expecting north korea style pro united propaganda but he can cheer up a bit. Hope everything is alright with his personal life, could be a bit of depression.

3.) 26 Jan 2018 20:46:54
I absolutely hate the bloke he has a face for radio and a voice for silent movies.

4.) 26 Jan 2018 21:26:07
Even the wife has commented on how he contradicts himself. He hates Sanchez bitter has been.

5.) 26 Jan 2018 21:55:57
The most biased anti united commentator on TV.

6.) 26 Jan 2018 22:23:23
He's always been a twonk. If I'd been van Nistelrooy or on the pitch with him I'd have sparked him out an took the red.

7.) 26 Jan 2018 23:17:33
He slated Sanchez the whole time he was on the pitch then gave him motm. A very salty individual.

8.) 27 Jan 2018 04:22:52
He’s a tool lads. I missed the game anybody able to fill me in on the rubbish he was spouting? Looks like Caesar from planet of the apes.

9.) 27 Jan 2018 12:03:57
Basically criticizing every move Sanchez made throughout the game.

22 Jan 2018 18:36:40
Hearing Alexis Sanchez playing GGMU on the piano gave me a a chicken supper Welcome Alexis.

1.) 22 Jan 2018 19:02:49

2.) 22 Jan 2018 19:14:27

Ed002's Note - The situation is that the amateurs dealing with negotiations for Manchester United are expecting their arrogant bullying will lead to clubs selling on the cheap or buying at inflated prices. Clubs are simply turning to look at other options as they are wanting to prepare for the season. }
