Good Morning Ed002, with Lukaku stating this morning that he knows where he will be playing next season, do you ave any insight as to where that will be now that his mind is made up?

Appreciate all that you do.

ussoldier77

{Ed002's Note - There is no financial agreement with any other side that I am aware of.}

1.) 06 Jun 2017 18:31:37
Just been told that everton have agreed to sell Lukaku back to Chelsea. I don't know the full details other than that he has agreed to the move and it will be announced shortly. This comes from someone at the club.

2.) 06 Jun 2017 18:46:56
Phew🤣 good player but i think a different striker would suit our club and team better.

3.) 06 Jun 2017 20:12:27
He is perfectly suited to the premier league and with better players will be good in Europe plus he will enable the other attacking team members to get more space I wish he was coming to us.

Ed002

With all of this money being spent is it still likely that Utd will bring in another midfield option?

ussoldier77

{Ed002's Note - Not now.}

People can say what they want about Rooney, but he simply pulled pure magic out this weekend and his effort to fight until the end is something rarely seen in football anymore. Well done WR10.

1.) 13 Aug 2018 12:25:25
Had a little smile when I saw that. Brilliant from Rooney.

2.) 13 Aug 2018 13:31:28
If he was fighting until the end he wouldn't be playing in mls at 31.
Great play all the same.

3.) 13 Aug 2018 15:03:25
Ah Ken can you not just be happy for him 😝

It was fantastic what he did. No matter what league he is playing in.

4.) 13 Aug 2018 16:56:48
Angel it was great play like i said but he is too good for that league imo.

5.) 13 Aug 2018 21:48:30
Epitomised what Rooney was to Utd throughout his career. Always tracked back sometimes as last person, worked for the team. However we Also needed him to be gready and be the one on the end of the cross and he could not be both.
Great player but definitely the right league to prolong his career for a number of years.

One thing Jose has always done very well is deflect the media attention away from his players and onto himself. I'm not sure i. I'm wondering if all of this panic in the media is yet another Jose masterclass of taking the pressure off of the team.

ussoldier77

1.) 08 Aug 2018 20:54:23
So when he critisizes shaw, martial, Pogba, Lukaku, Bailly in public, time after time, is this deflecting from the players?

Per Herrera's interview on the club website, this is exactly why I've always respected the guy. Plays for the team, 100% committed and understands that it is an honor to wear the badge (and captain's band) . Furthermore, I watched the game vs Liverpool with a mate of mine who is a scouser and he said he hated Herrera more than any other United player; more of a reason to love him.

ussoldier77

1.) 03 Aug 2018 00:34:38
Herrera is a great pro. His kind of professionalism is not even the norm anymore, at least not at the big clubs, with these stars who only give their all when everything is just right for them. It just comes down to character. If Herrera got transferred tomorrow, he would give his all for his new club. Too many of these modern players will only give 100% if they are in their favorite position, if they are a starter, if the coach praises them, if their salary is good, and so on.

Well done for England and Pickford was fantastic once again. However, I will say as I did after the last match, I am not sure how Sterling starts over Rasford or Vardy. It's great to have energy but the productivity just isn't there for me.

Into the semis now, anything can happen! C'mon England!

1.) 07 Jul 2018 20:47:27
Sterling - the headless chicken that lays no eggs.

2.) 07 Jul 2018 20:59:28
the way Martin Keown was talking about Pickford and Maguire I thought Gordon Banks and Bobby Moore had been reborn. Well done for winning, can only beat what’s in front of you but by god you’ve had it easy and not been tested at all. Croatia and Russia going to their second extra time in a row also, perfect storm for you guys this tournament.

3.) 07 Jul 2018 23:57:26
Thought Lingard was class tonight.

4.) 08 Jul 2018 06:34:49
We were the better team but ultimately Pickford won us that game with several great saves.

03 Jul 2018 22:55:07
I thought Sterling was shocking tonight, my 12 year old son has better touch than he did. Really thought Southgate would have pulled him at HT for Rashford, I believe ENG would have been up a couple goals at the half should Sterling not started.

ussoldier77

1.) 04 Jul 2018 09:40:11
You wanted a city player taken off for a United player? I can't believe it!

Thought Sterling was steady last night, caused a few problems. He isn't the player he is for City but England don't have De Bruyne and Silva creating the chances for him.

2.) 04 Jul 2018 10:32:02
GDS2, lol I know mate but honestly Sterling’s first touch is shocking. I felt that Rashford has the pace the Stering is there for and he certainly will link up better with Lingard.

Cracking win, happy for the boys, but I’d like to see a change at that position.

3.) 04 Jul 2018 10:40:56
Rashford can't control the ball either though half the time.

4.) 04 Jul 2018 11:58:05
Got to agree with 77,

sterling should have been swapped with Rash in the second half. Colombian defence on yellows and looking suspect get Rash to run at them with some simple balls over the top, in my opinion we let Columbia off the hook and allowed then back into the game. We need to learn and move forward and smash sweeden! . come on England.

5.) 04 Jul 2018 17:16:09
Stirling is nothing short of woeful in an engkand shirt offers absolutely nothing cannot control his own feet and hardly runs at players. Hasn’t scored for almost 3 years in an England shirt should be impossible to start him.

Hey gents, if this ever happens again, I’d be happy to simultaneously set one up on the other side of the pond for max effect. I am an American currently living in Hawaii and I am certain that I could pull something together to double our efforts.

Let me know if something like that would interest you all.

I can't see Chelsea splashing the cash when there is an unknown with the manager. Probably going public to satisfy fans that they tried.

I think at this point you have to hold on to him simply to not set a precedence. If United sold him now it would set a standard that one could throw their toys out of the pram and get their way.

The comments were very unprofessional, especially after being given the captaincy and the bright comments from Jose. I also fully believe Raiola is part of the problem. Paul’s departure is inevitable, however as I said above it must not be this summer.

Agree with you 100% that KDB was shocking. I felt they were missing Munier as their buikd up and attack seemed so slow. Dembele was a donkey too, don't see why some are in love with him.

Beast,

I understand where you are coming from in regards to Poch and I agree. While his signings haven’t been great, they were signed for his “plan” with Spurs inability to spend big in mind.

I’m a José fan but I also think we need to see his image still within his signings. Someone mentioned the other day that we don’t always need to have big name signings, but some that could come in and do the job they’re asked to do within Jose’s “plan”.

Saying that, we had players like O’Shea who wasn’t a world beater but did a job that a Fergie needed him to do and that worked. This is what I believe you mean when you want to see a plan, and if it is I agree with you mate.
