Hi everton fan in peace a friend of mine who is a utd fan seen felliani in Manchester airport and was chatting to him and asked if he was going to Manchester utd he said no utd are a very good team but he will be signing for chelsea in the summer and he also said the reason moyes is undecided about his contract situation is that Ross Barkley is joing Manchester utd in the summer

Barkley is of interest, but I'm not sure that we will be moving for him.

2.) 25 Mar 2013
Would love Barkley here! He hasn't developed as much as he should have over the last year or so but he is a phenomenal talent, one of the best IMO. I hope you're right, praying to god Fellaini wouldn't come here anyway.

Exactly how many games has Barkley played this year he will go exactly the way of that other useless dollop Rodwell we were supposed to be interested in from everton, makes me wonder if its Moyes fault or the team working with him

7.) 25 Mar 2013
I would say that this could well be the case I remember seeing SAF say he thought Ross Barkely could be as good as Gerrard and we know how highly he rates him so he must think the boys got what the only thing about the comment is why would Moyes be waiting to sign a new contract on the out come of Barkley he is at a club that has to sell players to balance the books and how would Fellani know exactly the thoughts of the manager. Barkley is much better technically than Gerrard, he will be a better player. We should go all out to sign this kid, he was the driving force behind the England U17s (with Will Keane) winning the European championships.

Ed are we following Barkley/is there actually interest you are aware of?

Dan {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of interest from MUFC.}

10.) 26 Mar 2013
Amos, Smalling, Jones, M. Keane, Tunnicliffe, Cleverley, Powell, Welbeck, W. Keane, Zaha, Lingard, Cole, Thorpe. Add Barkley to that, young English talents, so we don't have to worry about them leaving for Barca or Real. Hope this is true, and I know he won't leave arsenal, but how great would it be if Wilshere came to united.

11.) 26 Mar 2013
I can confirm Barkley is of massive interest to Man Utd. The only decision is WHEN they will attempt to sign him. I wasn't sure this summer would be the case as I believe there is hope he will begin featuring for Everton more regularly.
If United were to move for him this summer expect an instant loan deal to be arranged.

Amos, Tunnicliffe and Cole almost definitely won't make it here. Lingard has an outside chance but Daehli and Januzaj are far better prospects for his position.

13.) 26 Mar 2013
But we have previously been interested in Barkley haven't we Ed? Who is interested at the moment is it Chelsea?

Dan {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of interest in him.}

14.) 27 Mar 2013
Can you give me some sort of encouragement that Barkley may come here soon then Ed. I've had a crap day at work, make something up if you like.

Dan {Ed002's Note - I am not aware of interest.}

I would be very careful desiring young English talents. I'm English myself, but have been aware all my life that the England football team are very, very avaerage. Of the English players at United, there is onl;y Rooney, reo and Carrick that are international class, Jones and Wellbeck may become top notch. However Young, Cleverley, Smalling are bit part players. Powell, Tunnicliffe, Zaha etc are kids who are as likely to be flops as top players. I'd be happy with top players from anywhere, - Wanyama from Kenya, Gotze from germany, Ericsen from Denmark etc. I'm a United fan, but only watch England if there's nothing else to do.
