Rene Meulensteen now favourite to get the Wigan job. Hope he gets it, does a great job, gets more experience and then comes back if Moyes doesn't work out. Not that I want Moyes to do a bad job but I do like Meulensteen so whether we see him back or not I hope he does well.

Nope. Martinez goes to Everton, Moyes comes to us, and the only thing that could complete the circle, and restore balance in this Universe would be Fergie joining his good friend David @ Wigan :)

Don't see him being a success as a manager, brilliant coach but has tasted management at Bronby withought success.

Have a lad in the Academy and met Rene on numerous occasions couldn't meet a nicer bloke. Wish him all the best in whatever he does.

I find it funny how everybody slates Phelan and raves about Rene. rene is obviously well respected but who knows what they did behind the scenes at all?

Not sure if Meulensteen wil be a good manager in the premier league. He failed miserably at Brondby.
