We will be playing this season with the same weak midfield as last and the one before etc. let's all pray Carrick doesn't get injured or have a bad season or we will be in serious trouble! The big four is now the big six and we aren't guaranteed a top four finish especially as the other clubs have invested heavily. Next Monday might be a wake-up call against Chelski. I hope I am very wrong.

I completely agree with your opinion that if Carrick gets injured we will be in serious trouble. And I just can't imagine what the hell will happen if carrick and RVP get injured at the same time. No creativity without those two.

The same midfield which form the team that won the league last season got pipped last kick of season year before, nobody is guaranteed anything but you can rest assured that our squad are up for it big time and the pundits and journalist are assisting us when they continue to right us off only makes us more determined.

With RVP we're aways guaranteeed top 4. If he can drag that shower of poo of the Arsenal 2011 team into the CL single handedly, then he can do it for us as well ;)

DM has said many times that he wants to strengthen midfield. so far we have only bid for fabregas and apparently fellaini in that position, even Thiago said there was no talks or bids from us yet people seem to insist that we did. I for one take great hope in the fact that at long last we are being linked with top midfielders.both fellaini and fabregas offer different thing which we are missing and would add quality. You also think next monday night could be a wake up call? I find your lack of faith disturbing

Dylan, you've to keep improving the team every season. otherwise you just go backwards when everyone else does.

simzdav, just remember how Chelsea gave us a good seeing to in the fa cup last season and they've strengthened since then.
