Wayne Rooney has agreed a new long term contract at Manchester United, which will see his wage rise to 300k a week and will ensure he remains the highest paid player in the Premier League.

Rooney's decision to commit his future to Manchester United comes after the record signing of Juan Mata from Chelsea.

This was done days ago! Holding our club to ransom yet again. Just wish he would move on, could get someone more committed for that!

Not even anywhere near worth that amount. that type of money is around what bale and ronaldo are on, and they are far better players!
