Its all very quiet on here today, I am guessing not much is happening in terms of additional transfer/Rooney's contract negotiations.

If there are any Ed's about, do you have any breaking information or likelihoods of any transfers happening by deadline day? Particularly interested to know if Ed 002 has any updates on the situation.

Do you know if there is any plans to make a deal for anyone Ed 004? Talk of Kroos seems to have tapered off again, which is a shame because he's quality, which is why I couldn't see it ever happening. I really wish we would have made efforts to bolster Central Midfield to push for top 4

How do you know that no efforts were made to secure new players?
Player transfers can be long and complex affairs, the fact that no one else (apart from Mata) has arrived, does not mean that there has been a lack of effort or desire!
