Not United related, but Chelsea could have a ridiculous team next year if they are the front runners for Pogba and have all but signed Diego Costa. Add Varane and you almost have the perfect team. That to me looks a title winning side unless City can respond with a few special deals. We can't compete with these boys this year while we have no CL - it is a bigger issue than anyone has said it is.

Add to that Kurt Zouma, they can bring their keeper back from Athletico, and will probably end up signing Shaw too. Looking very good.

Just depressing isn't it. How did we get ourselves into this mess. SAF needed to plug the holes in the squad before he walked. He had massive pulling power and given we were Champions. Might have been the best time for him to leave but I feel we were left high and dry. Chelsea and City will both be massive forces next year. Arsenal have potential to really bulk up too. So Best we beat Liverpool to 4th. in LVG we now trust

I think that we are in big trouble. I don't see big names joining us when they could get a similar standard team who have CL football. We are going to need these young players to perform that we are looking at. But I don't see us beating a team like Chelsea to anyone unless the player who is a huge fan of the club.

Fresh. You've changed your tune a bit lol, last week we were going to sign Kroos and Reus. Lol. I knew this season we would struggle to attract the big names. Fergie let the squad deteriorate, and a has to be responsible for some of this

First post but been reading for years.

with no champions league football I can see lvg buying younger players - rising stars. we already have a wealth of talent in attacking positions (i include nani in that) and an excellent keeper. I think supporters might feel underwhelmed by the purchases made in this transfer window but he knows he has to rebuild for the future

Always have a nosey on here for a but don't often post. I'd be happy with an experienced CB and CM with young players brought in around them. Hummels and schweinsteiger for example. Then looks at players like Shaw, classie, depau etc. Then again, I'm probably sucked into this media bubble and LVG isn't interested in any of these.

Fresh, Chelsea always has been more proactive and appealing club than us in the recent years. though journalists are more proactive with MU than any other clubs. We are already on the dream team according to them! Served by daily mail every year!

I would not trouble yourself about thinking of competing for the prem title next season although Chelsea will be a rival of sorts for CL qualification.

As great as the Chelsea squad will be for next season, they will still have Jose and his dire brand of negative football.
