Today could be a huge day in our Vidal pursuit. He and his agent are set for talks with Juventus officials. I think if he says he wants to go then there will be a big £40 million bid going in this coming week. I'm going away for a couple of days anyway, so here's hoping!

1.) 27 Jul 2014
No matter what he says I expect us to bid for him. If we don't then wow. Just wow.!

2.) 27 Jul 2014
I think we'll know one way or the other this time next week.

3.) 27 Jul 2014
Its been said juve would sell one of vidal or pogba possibly both. News today reporting pogba is being offered a new contract.
Obviously just guess work but i'm hoping that is the biggest indication yet they expect vidal to leave.

Please mate forget about Vidal.
No point having hope when someone can't do there job properly. Only knows how to get sponsors. But useless on signing players. I'm taking about My Ed Woodwoody.
Everything is says is lie. It's a mind game.
Remember he said there is no limit how much utd can spend, but why would you then say we won't pay over the odds. Pure fooling fans.
Please someone show Real Madrids squad for example.

5.) 27 Jul 2014
If we get him, great, but if we don't it's not the end of the world. We have Herrera, while is a fantastic player, while Fletcher looked good the other day, and Carrick shouldn't be out for too long.

We need defensive reinforcements more urgently.

Personally I wander whether the transfer is already done.

The deal being announced in the 2nd week of August seems to make sense.

Man U can announce the deal in 2 weeks, and motivate the current squad in the meantime, given LVGs declaration he wanted 3-4 weeks to assess his squad.

Juventus can pretend that Conte was being irrrational and looking out for his own interests in resigning.
- If Vidal's signature comes a month after Contes departure, the idea that "Juventus are letting their best players leave without a fight, " can be contended by the Juve hierachy.

{Ed007's Note - All hail Syd II......

007, I don't and never have thought that MU have signed Vidal. But there are rumours suggesting that MU are about to bid, that's not just from 002, but CNN are reporting it too, or one of their journalists. I hope they are both right.

Think RedIsotope is spot on.
Or rather I hope .

I thought juve had all ready spent the vidal money?

If the deal for Vidal was already done he would be on a plane to USA to prepare for the season, no mind games or tricks for this or that! That's just pure hope over common sense. I hope he does come and would be best signing since rvp

11.) 27 Jul 2014
I said I believed Juve were spending the money they know they will be getting for Vidal or Pogba. Only a bird brain would think that's me saying we have signed Vidal. Hmmm!

12.) 28 Jul 2014
Can anyone explain why juve are in such a bad financial position and have to sell one of their stars please? They've won the league the past few seasons and don't seem to of spent that much, I didn't think. Surely they should be reasonably secure? Thanks

Eden, they recently built a new stadium which would have cost a lot and when they were forced to drop down into the second division a few years ago they missed out on a lot of TV money and two years of European football.

14.) 28 Jul 2014
Eden, I think much like Arsenal over the last decade they are currently being hamstrung by the cost of their new stadium.

15.) 28 Jul 2014
Ahh thanks very much for clearing that up for me :)
