How can you honestly ridicule the club and it transfer dealings i for one wouldn't mind to much if didn't sign anyone in the time that there is left this club was built on bringing through youth and with januzai, perreira and wilson to name but three i would sooner see then play than us panic buying because we've been a bit goal shy in the first three games. Goals will come and on another day we would of put 6 past newcastle yesterday and everybody would of been saying we don't need to buy, things will click and goals will be scored so have faith and believe

I think you can definitely ridicule the club for the terrible way they have dealt with transfers over the last couple of years. When SAF was in charge transfers were dealt with before the window even opened. We're being run by a clown and his idiot sidekick. LVG is arrogant and out of date and Woodward is completely incompetent. We won't win anything under LVG and we won't sign a world class player under Woodward.

However I completely agree with bringing through youth and I would be prepared to put up with a struggle if it meant quality youth in 2 or 3 seasons time. At the moment though we are just a mess.

Too many fans getting caught up with the rubbish in the papers.
Unless we can sign someone like Bale who would be part of a long term plan what is the point with all these transient players that last 1 or 2 seasons.
Man Utd are better than that and develop within plus add some world class players.
If we don't give the likes of Januzaj, Perriera and Wilson a chance then we may as well sell them now and watch others develop them.
Only players like Bale, Muller etc who are world class and still young really fit the mould of what Utd have stood for over the years.
Too much rubbish is being spoken by the papers which then transmits through to the fans.
I don't want another ADM etc

We're 3 games in and we've scored once in the premier league. ONCE!!!! The Tottenham game was an own goal. This is meant to be the greatest club in the world and we can't attract the biggest names anymore. De Gea will go, Di Maria didn't even turn up after the break and we haven't signed anyone truly world class for a very long time.

Players like Di Maria, Falcao, Rooney etc haven't had the best bought out of them. The only common link there is the manager. LVG isn't getting the best out of our players. There's a reason they're all leaving or faltering. The idea of changing the chief executive at the same time as the clubs most important manager of all time smacks of terrible decisions from above.

Moyes was allowed to sack all of our backroom staff and bring in his own goons from Everton who haven't won anything ever. He should have been told to keep everyone around him but for some reason wasn't. It's madness. I just cannot believe how such a huge club can be so foolish.

Just look at Liverpool. We are headed that way unless we can keep our head above water until a decent manager takes over. Mark my words. We are screwed until we get a manager that is suited to English football and understands the modern game.

I still think that the best players would love to come, but the best players belong to other great clubs who don't want to sell. Thereforw we need to nuture or buy young and buy potential and buy the future neymar, muller and bale if theye not available now.everybodys worried but shouldn't be we shouldn't expect the league this season we've always thought long term and that shouldn't change i hate all these quick signings

I think Woodward has been very good so far, especially with sponsors. It's his dealings with sponsors like Chevy and Adidas that have now made us one of the richest clubs in Europe, allowing us the funds to sign anyone. The last few transfer windows he's been decent. It's not his fault that players don't perform, considering that if Di Maria and Falcao performed to their reputation, we'd already have had a complete squad. At the beginning of Moyes' first season we would have laughed in the face of a person that said we'd have Mata, Di Maria, Schweinsteiger, and Falcao in our squad.

As for LVG, he was brought in for his assertiveness. No player should be bigger than the manager, and that's why Moyes failed. LVG expects full control of his players, if he's not going to get it from them that player is gone. LVG was brought in to mentally prepare Ryan Giggs to take over, especially in terms of tactics and keeping players in order. LVG is purely to transition us for Giggs to carry us in the future.

Just my thoughts.

Yes, actually some of you are right, let's all bury our heads in the sand and pretend everything is going brilliantly. We've scored once in 3 games and our manager is telling us how we don't need another striker. Hurrah!!!

You can pretend everything is okay but just wait, when we haven't won anything in 5 years and struggle to make top 6 then maybe you'll realise I was right all along. But it will be too late by then. Just look at Liverpool.

I agree we need to be loyal fans but how can you 'support' something you don't believe in? LVG is awful and I would say that to anyones face including his. We keep the ball beautifully but that means nothing. Again look at Liverpool a couple of seasons ago. Conceded so many goals but scored plenty more with fast attacking football.

LVG got lucky last year with 4th because the teams below us were also so bad. We have chucked hundreds of millions of pounds at a man not suited to the job. I used to love United because we did things properly. Through youth with maybe a few big signings once in a while. Now we're as bad as Chelsea and the like, just trying to buy the league.

It's irrelevant anyway because until LVG is gone and we have decent long term manager who understands the modern game and the modern player, we are doomed no matter who we sign.

Forget the papers, just look at how we play, it's boring football.

PS - My name is perfectly justified - Football is a fantastic game, ruined by greed and money. Gone are the days of passing a player in the street or seeing him in the local pub. We are in the days of corporate rubbish where it's about how many shirts you can sell around the world rather than the game. If anyone thinks paying £150,000 every week to a 20 year old is a good thing then they need their head examined. Most of us will never make what these players make in a month in our entire lives and that is disgusting considering what they do. I hate football and what it has become and what United have become, trying to buy the league.

The deals are done - i have heard its 2 big names - both forward players - why they announce it last minute i don't know
There was apparently 150million in the kitty - our net spend is 20million
