From what I've been told by friends who work at Carrington who have heard players talking, Pogba isn't happening so let's all put that to bed. His agent is basically just using us and the media to get himself and Pogba more money from Juventus whilst they hold out for Madrid next season.
The whispers currently going around at the moment is that Mourinho's actual midfield target is his trusted protector Matic. He is seen as the player to protect the back 4. Matic also wants the move now that Kante and is confirmed.

I would be more than happy with a Matic in the form he was a couple of seasons ago. Then if Woodward still feels like he's got too much cash burning a hole in his pocket, a player Kroos would go down very nicely.

Just realised you meant one or the other, in that case Option 1 all day long, Pogba is and will be better than the other two and that is what really matters. I think the rest of the squad is looking pretty good now just a top centre mid needed.

We as fans should not worry about fees of players as this don't affect us in anyway. if 100 mil for pogba is what's needed to win us silverware then so be it!

It's only 30 million more than we get from adidas each year so the fee just isn't important, it's ridiculous but paying anything for a footballer is.

Strengthening the squad further would be nice but there is a point where more additions becomes counter productive as integrating so many new players at once would be difficult especially with a new manager as well.
