Yes they are better but we have improved too and Jose took over with much more to do than Pep. Give him another full season then let's judge.

Agree it's not nice losing at home to city. But it's only December, anything could happen between now and end of season . Couple of signings in Jan and the summer, We may have a more competitive team, Drop lukaku for a game or two and let him get his hunger back. And if Pep does win the league who is to say he will stay at city anyways.

I think that's a bit of an overstatement tony. They have a better squad and most people will not argue that. They will always have more possession because of how they play but we are very close and will not be one bit surprised if we beat them at their place later in the year.

We are not as deep as they are and when missing players like Pogba, and out of form mik and fellaini believe it or not which i though if we are going to play long balls is 10 times better than lukaku in terms of winning headers and being able to control the ball and bring other players into it.

we conceded 2 terrible goals and still should not have lost the game. For all their possession dog made one really good save from Debruyne and they had very little to show.

at the moment everything is going their way bounce of the ball and no injuries what so ever. let's wait and see how they respond when things are not going their way.

City are the real deal, just like Chelsea the EPL is a competitive league with a lot of cash around .

Chelsea where top of the league for the most part of last season, city have been excellent this year. ALl 5 teams from England are through to the next round of the CL.
Spurs done Madrid over 2 games the scouse are on the up its getting harder .
United haven't got the comfort blanket of fergy.

there there AJH buddy, we all hurting. And let me put your mind at ease. no, there ain't no powershift. its just that they have gotten powerful over the last few years too.

need i remind you about what happened when david moyes oversaw the derby game and after that said "this is the team we aspire to become " i mean can you believe that poop.

Lets just concentrate our ownselves for now. we are 2nd mate. when ws the last time that happened after 16 games?

Hey Raconteur, honestly, do you not aspire to be more like that city team we played yesterday?

@RWWD

No. They kept possession but created precious little in clear cut chances. I aspire to be like the United aide of 98-99 or 2006-2009. Which not only had possession but also created chances and was absolutely deadly on the counter attack.

I would love to be like Jose's Real Madrid which score 100 goals in a season and was amazing to watch on the counter with pace and power. We have the forwards, defense, a winger and a keeper to be that good. All we need is a midfielder or two help us dominate more and take the pressure off Pogba.
