May it come to pass.

Part of me thinks the sanchez contract is complicating things because if he is the highest earner at the club then all three of those players deserve to be earning more than him on both form and potential and the fact that sanchez has been abysmal.

That is obviously not sustainable so Getting him off the books would make lives a lot easier for the contract negotiators at the club.

All 3 are fundamental for the future.
Sanchez on top form will easily bang in 15 plus goals per season. His workrate, pressing from the front suits Ole's style.

The fruits of Ole's labours are not just being shown on the pitch. 3 Major players who were said to be on their way out are now talking about new contracts.7 wins from 7 so the boy is doing good.

Pogba is actively looking for a new club. I wouldn't be rewarding him with a new contract considering his behaviour over the last year.

I would be delighted if the all renewed their contracts. In terms of Sanchez, I would offer him to Athletico Madrid. If Griezman does leave this summer Sanchez would be a good replacement for them. I suspect he would be happier in a Spanish speaking country. Someone would like his work ethic, the only problem might be his wishes.

I just don’t see where Sanchez fits at Utd. I suspect he doesn’t want to play on the right. He wants left wing or up front. I am sorry but rashford all day long as striker and Martial is left wing first choice so it’s thank you and good bye to Sanchez. He has had 12mths to prove his worth and has failed to do so.

Crazy idea to be rewarding one of the best players in the world, now on best form, with an improved contract. Far more sensible to sell him to a competitor and replace with an inferior product.

Pliny, he doesn't want to be here. His agent is hawking him around to anyone who will listen. He's acted like a petulant child and let's not get into his ridiculous instagram posts after we sacked Jose.

Yeah, on his day he's class but he's more likely to have average above average performance than a great one.

There's a reason why Madrid and Barcelona don't fancy him. He'd rather push for a move back to Juventus than play his football at Old Trafford. Let's reward the lad with a wage increase because he's had 3 good games since the new manager took over.

We need to wait till the end of season to decide on Pogba. First time he is being used correctly and he is making things happen - goals and key passes.
If Pogba maintains consistency, he would be a real asset.
Hopefully becoming a father would bring more maturity out of him.

agree with you here Mumbles. Football fans have the shortest of memories. We need to wait for things to go wrong for Pogba and see how he reacts before committing to a new deal for him. He's capable of destroying the team as much as he is of improving it. We've seen both sides as evidence already this season.

Fair point Wazza about seeing how he responds when things stop going our way, but Mumbles, I think you are judging him unfairly.

JM misused him on the pitch and repeatedly used him as a scapegoat. Most players would have struggled, and reacted badly. Since he's been used properly by OGS, he hasn't had a single average performance.

Against Spurs, everyone talked about DDG's saves, but no-one mentioned that Pogba had at least 3 near misses which came closer to scoring than any of Spurs chances. He's being given a chance to play a role that suits him, in a system that suits him, something JM never did. That is what he needs to be judged on, not how he played under JM.
