A question for one of the Eds and posters.

Do you have any updates or news with Jesse Lingard. Is it true that he recently signed with Raiola as his agent?

Jesse Lingard (/RM/AM) knows that Manchester United see him as potentially being surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and that the current coach is not keen on him - so. not unreasonably. there is an ad hoc agreement with Mino that allows him to look for other options for the player. Right now I am aware there have been approaches to several sides and that a couple might be open to making a formal approach, but there remains a concern that as an English player there is a high risk if he were to move to mainland Europe - so the interest could easily wane. Interest in England I am told is thin on the ground although at least two sides have been approached. I suspect the summer and decisions yet to be agreed at the club will define whether he stays or goes.}

Might I be cheeky and read between the lines regarding your comment about decisions yet to made and the impact on whether Lingard stays: might this allude to United changing managers in the summer please?

If so - and I appreciate this is very speculative - might you have any inside info about United’s thoughts about Solkjaer, changing him in the Summer and who might they have spoken to please?

In reply to ed002. As supporters we are not bright enough to realise Ed Woodward is not buying and selling players, neither is ogs. With no dof. Who is actually making the decisions to buy/ sell negotiate for Man Utd?
