Some rumours that we may be after Willian - not sure about much there is in it or even if he will consider moving to Manchester having had the chance once before. But if we are serious, it would be an astute signing for the RW position. Hardworking, pace, decent finishing. Especially if the sancho fee is as ridiculous as it currently stands. I very much doubt the fee will increase next year and the gaping hole at RW is the only reason for us to pay that amount. WIllian will help fill that gap and allow us to evaluate our options come end of next season.

{Ed002's Note - It would have to be a three year contract for Willian.}

Are we interested in Willian Ed?

{Ed002's Note - I don't see that Manchester United would offer a 31 year old a three year contract.}

ED002, you did say they are amateurs.

Shame. Thanks for the info Ed. We could do much worse.

If we needed a short term solution Jose Callejón would fill the gap nicely.

It would be a huge side step from recent transfer policy. No way we’d offer him 3 years. A move to China surely beckons. Rather us play Greenwood there / give Chong more minutes.

Agree on the 3 year contract - two years tops. We need a first team starter in RW till we can get a long term solution in place. Not sure Chong or greenwood are the answer.

{Ed002's Note - It won't happen then as he has that offer from Chelsea where he wants to stay.}

We’ll never know unless they’re given a chance. If Bayern are keen on Chong, he just have something about him.

Signing Willian to block their progress would be ridiculous.
