Quick one for Ed002 please.

Rumours of us being in for Saul again. Is this anything you are aware of? He can play on the right too which is a bonus if we finally see Sancho as too expensive, which he is.

Also, if rumours of Stevanovic are true, maybe Saul to cover the right and CM for a season before Stevanovic comes in next summer and then move to CM permanently?

Could be nothing in either rumour though of course.

He played RW on numerous occasions last season and did pretty well from what I read at the time. I only remember as I always thought of him as a CM so was surprised. I didn't watch him myself so just going off what I read at the time.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of that - he has certainly played RM with Koke in the centre.}

Saul is the perfect partner for Pogba and Bruno. We should be aiming to play them in the same side, not replacing one with another. What's the point.

And again, what's the purpose, you get a good player and let a good player go (if Pogba wants to leave - fine) If Pogba goes, we need 2 good CMs. I don't think this should be United's idea. We have to keep our good players and add to them.

Ed002, with Pogba still wanting to leave, do you see it being relatively likely that he signs a new contract soon and is then sold next summer?

Obviously, I don't know the costs involved but if sides such as Real / Juve etc were able to put in a reasonable bid for Pogba this summer and United can get Saul to replace him that is what we should do.

Mad Hatter. If nobody puts in a reasonable offer, I don’t think it’s unreasonable at all to expect him to see out his contract. He agreed to it and is compensated pretty well.

Imagine your wife wants to move house but the only offer you get on your house is for £20 and a bag of Quavers. Would you be pathetic for turning down the offer even though your house is worth at least £50?

What does everyone think of buying Saul, and possibly Donny van der Beek and swapping Pogba for Dybala?
And then throw the sink at BVB for Sancho next year?
or not if Daniel James, Chong and Stevanovic habe delevoped enough to share the RW.

Should be a comparable outlay to Sancho, probably less wages then extending with Pogba and more depth in the middle of the park.

Obviously all depending on the players willingness to join us.

If we could get Dybala, DVB and Saul, with Pogba out, I'd be happy with that. Doesn't seem likely though.
