The mega-wealthy Ortega family have made an offer to buy Manchester United, according to Radio El Fuego.
The Catalonian sports radio station tweeted the news yesterday evening, claiming that it came from 'a very reliable source'.

{Ed002's Note - Way back when I was young I recall seeing Louie Ortega with his amazing band Louis and The Lovers. They issued a really, really great album on Epic as I recall. I should dig it out and give it a spin.}

Think the rumour originated from a United employee spotted chatting to a representative from the Ortego family at an airport somewhere.

Amancio Ortega's heart lies with Deportivo la Coruna, I don't believe he has ever invested in them so why would he bother with United.
