Romero deserves to be a number 1. If he signed for Chelsea I'd wish him the best of luck. Anyone buying him woild get a very good keeper.

He's been a class act whenever he has played for us. 39 clean sheets in 61 appearances is exceptional. Wherever he goes he deserves to be first choice and play every week.

Wish him well. He would walk into 10 teams at least in the PL. Always done his best for us.

It can’t be easy being a number 2 goalkeeper given the need to be ready at a moments notice. It must be difficult to step onto the pitch and do what needs to be done having sometimes not played for months at a time. Like others, I wish him all the best wherever he goes.

I am a little worried about who we will get to replace him as he’s arguably amongst the very best when it comes to backup keepers. We should be fine next season with Dave and Dean, but I’d be surprised if they’re both still at the club come the close of next summer’s transfer window.
