That's great but Mr Levy won't let that happen.

Don Hutchinson, who is not my friend, reckons Kane to City is going to happen in the summer.

I love these kind of rumours. I doubt we'll get Kane, Spurs will want a kings ransom and his injury record isn't fantastic.

should not have signed a bumper new contract then.

Let city buy Kane and then it gives us a free run at Haaland. I can't see Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus or Bayern being able to fork out 100 million plus in this climate. As fantastic as Kane is he approaching 28 years old and seems to be getting more and more injuries.

sim01975 - completely agree. i would have haaland over Kane any day. Especially given the fact that our squad will peak in 2-3 years and kane may be too old by then.

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

Haaland is never going to happen down to raiola. ‘Severed ties’ is the wrong term, as in the long run not working with him again will be for the best of the club. But yeah he’s itching to get his favourite client pogba moved on so it won’t be happening sadly.

I’d go for Calvert Lewin but not this summer. Summer after. He’ll be enjoying playing under Ancelotti, and Everton are certainly becoming a formidable side. I assume we’ll extend cavani for a year so I don’t see him wanting to challenge him.

I'd like us to compete for Lautaro Martinez, who reminds me of a young Aguero.

Personally I think we will go in for Sancho and give Greenwood a season up top with Cavani.

Greenwood is not a Cavani replacement, his best position is on the left or right coming in on goal, nobody is more deadly shooting from the edge of the box than Mason.
What he doesn't do is sit in the middle and finish off chances like Cavani and Haaland do, that is not his natural game.

He’s doesn’t get played there yet as it’s easier to bed him in on the flanks. He’s the most natural and best finisher at the club with either foot so a central position is perfect for him.

Best finisher from the edge of the box, best at running at defences definitely, but I don't think its his natural game to stand in thr middlenof the box like Cavani and finish off chances, Greenwood is at his best when he runs at defenders.

Personally I think we have better suited central strikers coming through the under 23s and academy that will be pushing to be in the first team come next summer. For me though Greenwood plays on the left of a front three.

Do United hold interest in Haaland, or woukd the relationship with Raiola be a stumbling block?

Still think the club view Greenwood as a striker option hence the pursuit of Sancho and purchase of Diallo and Pellestri.
