Good old paper talk, apparently we are selling Henderson and buying Donnarumma.

{Ed077's Note - Donnarumma's contract is up this summer and he hasn't yet signed a new deal at Milan just yet. I fully expect him to sign a new deal unless something goes wrong in a massive way.

Guess who is his agent though?

It's non other than Man Utd's favourite super agent, Mino Raiola himself. Rest you can figure what's coming I would hope.}

Milan having their best season in about 10 years, but if your Donnarumma you want to be winning trophies, even if he is only 22 would you be thinking I would be better off somewhere else.

Grimslives so you think he's going to come to us? We already have Henderson who is 23, knows the PL and has experience under his belt. Why would anyone in their sane mind replace him for someone outside of the PL who is talented for sure but not guaranteed to succeed. It's a huge risk.

It's all just paper talk trying to prop up United in the headlines and probably he gets a improved contract in the process.

LPU, Donnarumma has huge experience for his age and is the better keeper of the two

Henderson is a bigger risk imo. He’s not convinced he can be better than DDG yet, whereas Donnarumma probably has.

Wazza it's PL experience I am talking about. How is Henderson a bigger risk? He's already shown that he's a much better all round keeper than DeGea.

Donnarumma might have huge experience as you say but the PL is a different thing all together. Watched some youtube highlights and he doesn't look much convincing with his handling and not sure if he commands his box well and is good in the air. He reminds me of DeGea with his shot stopping ability but some times seems to parry the ball into danger areas. He probably isn't ready for the PL and has lots to improve in my opinion.

Anyone seen enough of Donnarumma to suggest he is ready for the PL?

LPU I don’t agree for a second that DH has shown he’s a better keeper than DDG.

Dave looks past his best but he was considered the best in the world. Henderson has done nothing yet to earn such praise.

{Ed077's Note - I too dont think Dean Henderson is a better GK than DDG just yet. However it's very easy to see that DH is a better footballer than DDG and is more suited suited to the way United play nowadays.}

I mean except by the looks of it be the difference between Sheffield United getting a top half finish or relegated.

{Ed077's Note - I don't think it's fair to say DH is the sole difference between Sheffield Utd finishing in the top half last season and being rock bottom this. Ramsdale not shot ng their style of play and frankly being an inferior GK is certainly a contributing factor and so is the large number of injuries their defence has suffered. For example O'Conell being out injured for the whole of the season has unsettled their defence quite a bit and they have had to play a near retirement Jagielka fair few amount of times due to various players I defence getting injured. They are so reliant on their system and their first 11 that even 2or 3 players missing can completely make them very weak. And they have been very unlucky in most games too.

But yeah DH would most likely have helped them get a few more points I think}
