If kane is available I would go and get him.

No doubt city will splash 200 million on kane and grealish.

Had enough of the pogba nonsense, get rid recoup some money and sell a few others too.

Saul and kane please.

{Ed004's Note - I think we have no chance for Kane. Not after our summer outlay}

I don't think we have the cash to spend the 120-150m Kane would cost.

I mean we are struggling to find the 30m for Trippier.

Also we need to offload several players before buying more or we will end up in a similar situation as last year were we can't name some players in our 25 man squad and as such we won't be able to use them but will still have to pay them.

Do we want a player who allegedly refused to turn up to training to force a move?

Would strike me as having an “attitude problem” if true.

Not sure but maybe we could use players such as martial and lingard maybe even bailly? no idea if spurs would be interested in them, also another option could be a loan with mandatory buy for next year again not sure if spurs would even consider that though.

Rather sign Haaland next summer plus we have our very own star in Mason Greenwood.

I suspect any player would not turn up if he wanted to begin trying to push through a move. He's probably realised City have turned the spotlight to Grealish and suspects they won't/ can't splash out for both. I think Kane's attitude is hardly a problem. If we want a new job we just hand our notice in or walk. Footballers have to resort to other methods, like it or not.

Would still prefer Haaland in terms of longevity and I imagine their fees are similar. Personally not convinced Greenwood is going to be the out and out centrreforward we want but he's a useful option as he develops.

But who are we kidding, it's probably a bit greedy now. Yes we need a long-term striker solution but I think we're going to have to bite the bullet and see who's available next summer after Cavani leaves. If City don't go for Kane who will now? I'd prefer to see any cash still available or raised used to buy a midfielder, even ahead of Trippier who hardly seems a priority.

Lautaro Martinez would be my first choice next summer. Outstanding player, quick but incredibly strong for his size, plenty of technical ability, he'd do very well in the PL.

As for this summer, I'd now rather see us get Saul and Trippier than see us spend an additional £100m on top of what they'd cost to get Kane.

shappy i don't think its a case of struggling for the 30 million

we don't want to pay it. he's 30/ 31 going to be used as back up

30 million is way over priced.

we also have williams and dalot if he isn't sold to ac milan.

Maybe Bolger, however we definitely don't have space in our squad for any more signings unless we get a few out the door.

While the reality is we have already spent £114m on Sancho and Varane. While midfield is the biggest concern we have now. So I don't see us spending 120-150m on a striker, not even one as good as Kane.

Not a chance we are in for Kane. Likely we still have £30-40m to spend on a DM/ CM if rumours about Rice/ Neves/ Camavinga/ Saul are true. I would be delighted if any of those signed. But I'm pretty sure given our usual annual budget that the DM/ CM recruitment depends on outgoings.

- Pogba £30m possibly but suspect he stays.
- Lingard £20m but only West Ham interested and see him staying also.
- Pereira / Dalot / Jones - more about getting them off the wage bill than generating much cash for them but £15-20m max for them surely.

Agree shappy we definitely need to sell before anyone else can come in, wages may be the issue in getting rid of players not in the managers plans.
