Hi Ed, not sure if you have any info on this. Is camavinga interested in joining United or does it seem he would rather wait for other clubs.

Serious approaches for Camavinga have been made by Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs - but Arsenal and Spurs can realistically be discounted, and even though Manchester United will push, they are not attractive destination for many players. Interest has also been shown by Borussia Dortmund (who were quoted €100M last summer), Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Genk - but the last two can be discounted as they have other targets. He is perhaps a little way from first team football at the highest level but PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also considering taking a chance on him in the summer but will not pay the revised COVID-19 asking price of €75M but with Zidane departing Real Madrid that might change. His price will drop further to reflect the huge losses French clubs have incurred and he is entering the final year of his contract. Bayern Munich still see him as an option to Zakaria. There was a discussion about the player with Chelsea who have a very good relationship with Rennes, but they have a preferred option and see the price as too high - but perhaps something could be negotiated depending on departures which would be the driver for Chelsea or if their other option is not available - and for now he isn't. Although it is telling that Chelsea also have another defensive CM player they will turn to as they have concerns over his attitude, so I would now discount them. The player has said that his preference is to join PSG, else Real Madrid or Chelsea due to the strong connections with the club. PSG would be best placed right now as Real Madrid and Chelsea have other priorities – but all would likely be more interested next summer. If Manchester United push for a move it won't be at €25M or whatever is being quoted by someone on Twitter and taken up by the fans. The player has made it clear he wants to move to PSG at some point whilst Rennes await an offer from PSG, Chelsea or Real Madrid. The player should sign an extension and stay another year.}

As long as a World Cup winner and 4x Champions League winner finds us an attractive destination, I think we might be ok 😆.

Sorry Ed, your snippets on transfers are always fantastic, but I can't remember the last time we were an attractive option for a player. Are we really that badly run?

Great to hear we are working to improve it. Sometimes takes someone to be honest and accept change is needed before it can happen.
