Have United tabled a bid for Antony?

Would Ajax be open to sale considering few players have already left the club.

I may have got it wrong but thought i'd read Ajax wanted 70m euros for Antony so £51m not that far away. Though given the pound is going to go south due to Boris clinging on for dear life Christ knows how many euros £51m will be worth in a few days!

Doesn’t sound low. I’d say about right to be honest. Obviously that’s up to Ajax at the end of the day. But I definitely wouldn’t call it a “low” offer!

I suppose it is also possible it is a bid with very little paid now and lots paid later with clauses. Lots of ways Ajax could be disappointed with a bid.

Bottom line is we waited until after Ajax had sold half their team (again) so they are clearly in the driving seat and in no need for the money.
