Is there any truth to the reports that Utd are interested in Calvin Bassey? Seen Sky have linked us along with Ajax and Brighton, who have allegedly made bids, and Arsenal.

I'd guess this is a complete non starter. Bassey has stood out up here, especially in the last 6 months, however, he is a left back who can also play centre back. With Martinez signing we now have 7 or 8 CB's and 3 left backs with Martinez and Dalot having the ability to cover there too. That's without including youth players like Fernandez or Mengi.
