Further links to Alphonso Davies and now Theo Hernandez today.

Both would suit that left wing back perfectly, but I'd imagine little chance of signing either.

Unfortunately I can't see either playing for Utd. I'd love Utd to pip to Davies on a pre contract.

There will be lots of links to wing backs and will be interesting to see which side (left/ right) Amorim wants to put a full back and which more winger.
Ait Norie/ Alvaro and the Sporting ones.

A recent link I saw for LWB was Nuno Mendes at PSG. Whether it's just an easy Portoguese link or there's something there who knows.

Shaw is not suited to the role now even if fit he is more a lcb now i think malacia does suit it a little more so.
I think it might be a role garnacho should be aspiring to fill in the same way amad has on the right.
I don't think there will be much to spend this winter without selling to generate amy substantial funds.
With maz and amad on right and garnacho and malacia on right plus dalot there are options until the summer at least. Not ideal but if the players apply themselves and stay fit they are OK options for a few months I think.
