Eds, could you answer a quick question? I know Jorge Mendes has many clients, including some on our current squad. Would you happen to know who are his clients that we are linked with?

Isn't he Garay's agent as well

I saw a tweet by Manutdredcafe saying Jorge Mendes had been good to us. I assumed it meant the agreement to sign Garay. i'll be over the moon if it's Di Maria as well {Ed002's Note - He is Garay's agent as well.}

Thanks ED002. If we do happen to get Strootman and Thiago, who would be first choice? I'd like to see a Carrick/Thiago partnership and a Strootman/Cleverley pair. Di Maria would no doubt improve our winger selection, but what wing would be play on? If Rooney stays then Kagawa has to play out left again in order to fit both into the line up. We all know that Kagawa likes that no. 10 role behind the striker, but will Moyes be pressured into starting him over Rooney? So in the case of Rooney playing the no. 10 role we would have Di Maria, Valencia, Zaha, and possibly Nani all fighting for the RW position. I have faith in Nani and for 10 mill I think we should just keep him. He had an off year and is inconsistant, but I think that he is still useful squad player, more so than Young in my opinion.
