Not so much a rumour but a bit of interesting info I received today from a pal of mine.
Apparently ronaldo was nailed on to rejoin up until about 10 days ago! The reason for this is Rooney! Ronaldo can't stand him! United expected bids from a few European powerhouses for Rooney and there refusal to sell to Chelsea has put the block on it! {Ed007's Note - Is Syd your pal by any chance?}

I am almost certain Ronaldo said he would only come back if Wayne was still there. They had a great friendship on the pitch.

I thought the exactly the same when he told me 5 weeks ago it was definatly happening! The funny thing is he's a scouser and he told me to lump as much money on at the bookies u could afford! He's lost £1500!
