I'd love to suspend disbelief and pretend that United match Real Madrids salary for Ronaldo. This would give Ronny a choice based outside money?
So for Real Madrid:
- the Madrid lifestyle
- the Madrid / spanish weather
- not favourites for the league
- not supported for Ballon D'or
- other players that would challenge him for affections of the fans and owners

Would joining United be better for him? I think so - but then I would - why wouldn't I?

Would it be better for United?
- would he develop younger players?
- how would he fit in with the squad?
- would he clash with other strong characters?
- would he improve the team? Ho! Ho!
- would he financially pay for himself in shirt sales etc?

I'm on the fence here - I'd love him back but would rather spend the money on 3 up and coming talents than one Ronny.

Bring him back no player will be as talented that's coming through right now

He's undoubtedly the best player in the world at the moment but if buying him meant we couldn't afford to strengthen in midfield and at lb then perhaps we should leave him in Madrid. He'll also be 29 in February.

GDS2, obviously i'm not expecting cole and co to play in a game against Liverpool, Chelsea, City etc. Hence why I said league cup as well. League cup and epl matches that aren't against top 6 teams. i'm more talking about a lot of these lads going out on loan when they may benefit a bit more by being put in the first team occasionally. I know were 3 tough games in and i'm 100% behind the team as stated. I expect Kagawa to play more, just pointing out that if he doesn't as none of us are the manager he may become frustrated and look elsewhere come the end of the season. Hope i'm proven wrong on all of this. 3 games in long way to go.

Ronaldo or Gundogan, Herrera and Baines for example?

Easy pick, I'd take the three players. Ronaldo's a genius but I'd rather build an excellent team than have merely a decent team with one superstar.
