very speculative but I wonder if Chelsea would loan out mata to us until the summer. i'd rather see him sign permanently but I don't see it happening. if he is playing regular until the summer he will put himself in contention for spain in the summer, we are out of the running for league so were no threat to Chelsea, if he plays well against arsenal, city, Liverpool its helping out Chelsea. works for everyone I think

My initial thought was no way would Chelsea go for that but your logic makes sense. Still don't think it will happen but boy it's a sign of how far we've slipped this season.

Chelsea would never loan Mata to him.

Hi eds/posters, I had a few questions, now although I will speculate on figures in my post they're purely hypothetical and I'm just trying to make a point. Any info would be appreciated.

Now Mata, let's assume the player had the desire to leave and Manchester United were interested (purely hypothetical) could Manchester United buy his contract out in order to secure his services? Or is it more complicated than that? I only ask cause let's say he is paid 100,000 a week that's 5.2 million a year and a total of 12.8 million for the 2 and half years of his contract.

Am I away with the fairies with this one? Is this purely wishful thinking? Cheers guys.

{Ed002's Note - None of it is correct.}

Liverpool fan in piece Now why would this happen, I assume the rationale for a mata loan signing would be to aid champions league qualification? With utds brand, image, buying power and allure for top players ( many of which Chelsea would look to pursue ) this would make no sence for Chelsea
