Vidic was a rock tonight. Good luck replacing him Mr Moyes.

On another note, no matter who Moyes buys, I simply cannot see his tactics working, and being right for the club.

Vidic's headers were impressive. I have noticed he kicks a lot of balls out for throw-ins now. Old age I guess, slowing down. Jones is another beast with his headers. He will replace Vidic if he can stay fit.

Was he really though? For effort yes but he was beaten to pretty much every header by Giroud, not to mention losing him at corners, and got extremely lucky that he didn't put one past us at the very least

I actually thought Rio and Smalling were better at the back than Vidic although we seem to consistently hold a very deep line which is worrying

Please enlighten me on what was wrong with Moyes's tactics tonight.?

Vidic was poor and has been for most of the season. He made a good clearance towards the end but for me he constantly lost his man again. Add that to his performance on Saturday and against Chelsea and he's been very disappointing. As for tactics, if RVP had been ruthless the game would have been comfortable. It's an easy thing to throw at Moyes every week, but I could see him screaming at them to get forward throughout the game!

Bennett

Nothing wrong with moyes tactics and the he said happy with how we defended but soul have liked to have played better going forward.

We had the best chances of the game and should have taken one. I said earlier today RVP is still not sharp and it showed tonight.

You would have thought with the form of players like RVP and Mata against arsenal in particular we would have looked a bit more creative going forward but it wasn't to be

I liked the subs Moyes used tonight tbh, Mata had a poor game so brings on a flair player in Januzaj and when he realised the Ox was going to tear Evra a new one, he used Young to play slightly more defensively (Although he didn't play well when he did come on, the thought was right)
