So I think it is fairly safe to say last night was a decent performance and Moyes got his tactics spot on for a game in which a 0-0 draw was perfect and a snatched 1-0 win would have been fantastic.

Unfortunately a 0-0 draw was not perfect, we have lost the right this season to take 1 point away from home by losing too many points at Old Trafford and we should have been going all out for a win.

I do not think this season is a write off just yet, we have the Champions League to go for where a good draw could see us get to the semi final and then who knows what will happen, and this could send us on a nice little run in the league where we could at least put some pressure on Liverpool / Arsenal / Spurs for 4th place and go into next season on the back of a good finish with new players added in the summer for a good season next season.

We have now played the top 5 away from home so in theory every league game should now be winnable. The lack of confidence is apparent and I think a couple of good wins could boost that. Confident players are often lucky players.

Sorry for being positive I appreciate that isn't really warranted on this site, and I do like to keep a fairly balanced approach even if I am upset by the way the team is playing at the moment.

Too many mistakes by Moyes in his first season for me but he will be given time to get it right, whether you agree with that or not. If we do end up getting rid of him at least we will have some top players signed up and have got rid of a lot of the deadwood if a new manager takes over.

Theoretically every game is winnable but i'm afraid not for this team with moyes in charge, I would think another two defeats at last this season so forget top four finish
