How do people feel about ozil are you glad we didn't sign him because we all know he wanted to come to us over arsenal and when we said no he had no choice but to go to arsenal I honestly believe he won't be a success in England

He was never interested in coming to us in the first place. He is a great player, the type that we needed but we were too slow in going for him, and it's doubtful we would have paid the asking anyway. If I had a choice of Ozil or Mata I'd take Ozil any day.

Mata over ozil all day! Mata is proven in prem and more of a team player? Ozil is class but a team like arsenal can't cover for him when he has down time whereas Madrid could so I think at utd we'd of struggled to cover him aswell and mata over his time in prem hasn't had many long spells of off form but ozil in his short time has? I would of loved ozil at the time but I never would of thought Chelsea would sell mata? So mata ahead of ozil for me!

Tedred I heard we were offered oil in the summer before the arsenal thing came up and Moyes didn't fancy him

I was pretty miffed tbh luckily Moyes knows more than me lol

I'd take Mata over Ozil, proven EPL quality. You can see how badly Ozil is struggling, he hasn't warranted his fee at all.

At the start of the season I would have taken Oezil over Mata - but I'm pleased to see the people with the responsibility made a better call.

I would have taken Oezil over Mata, but judging Oezil on this season's performances, I'd probably prefer Mata now. However I do expect Oezil to improve next season.
