Moreno or Shaw? Which would be the better player in the long term?

Shaw, but Moreno is probably better now. Both good players though.

Cant say I've seen much of the other fella but luke shaw in my opinion has the potential to be the best leftback on the planet. the kid has all the tools

That depends massively on the system and the league they're playing in IMO.

Moreno for example is very similar to Marcelo, absolutely incredible going forward but has a little work to do defensively.

Moreno would also be better in a narrow system, like the modern 4-2-3-1 with inverted wingers of a 4-4-2 diamond.

Shaw on the other hand is very similar to (although a RB) Zabaleta, very physical, relatively quick, still offers a lot going forward, is very good defensively.

I actually think Shaw is currently the better of the two, and I think he will end up being the better of the two however, if Moreno moves to Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, etc. then eventually he'll be known as the best LB on the planet - even though hhe perhaps won't be.
