Believe it or not but herrera took a paycut to play for us. Player shown great commitment to pay for us by doing this. Maybe goes to show that some players play for the love of a club rather than the money!

Xavi scholes and pirlo equally imperious while Gerrard definitely a level lower. Gerrard, to his defence, had enough drive to carry a whole team and had he had the technical ability of the others he would have been the best. @supasub I've got to question your statement that Gerrard hasn't done anything in Europe, I thought I had selective memory!
