For a club who allegedly had learned from its mistakes last summer, for a club that had lined up its targets, that was going to get its business done early, I must say I have been left a little under whelmed this summer so far. I know it is the 10th of August and that there are 3 weeks of the window left, but we need to get our signing completed and the dead wood gone. I would love to know what woody gets up to during the summer. Mutv how about a documentary on woody over a summer. Let the fans see if he is as full of s&@t as we think or if he is busting a gut to improve the team.

Fingers crossed he proves me wrong and I have to eat some humble pie, but I doubt it.

Huggy

I believe this coming week is actually the key week. Yes, the window is open for three more weeks but we need to integrate players into the club as soon as possible. Mr Woodward, Mr "loads a money, see my wad" Woodward left the tour around 21st July and nothing has happened. Apparently he flew back to the US for the Madrid game then back to the UK again which is interesting, unless he was trying to sign a new sponsor.
However, the longer this stalemate goes on the more I start to wonder if we are scrimping again and trying to get players as cheap as we can. No we don't want to get ripped off but Woodward needs to show he has learned from last summers debacle and be decisive. The difference now, from the previous two managers, is that if LvG wants someone and they don't arrive he may say something. I think we will buy but CEO's who shout their mouth off need to deliver and Woody needs to show actions speak louder than words, he needs to give LvG a chance, time to work with new players so for me it needs to be soon.

Top post Red Man. Its as if they haven't learnt from last summers mistakes. If we repeat the same mistakes and miss out on Champions league football again we are screwed.
