Not really utd related but just when you are feeling down brenda rodgers comes out with another statement to cheer everyone up.
First he said that liverpool proved year that they could handle the pressure of a title run in. Mmm ok so snatching 2nd place when finishing first was the easier option not to mention throwing away a 3 goal lead at place proves the case?
Now he is saying that liverpool attract all the best players. Mmm ok so 3 of those players come from southampton, a team that finished mid table last year, and, I would challenge anyone to name, off the top of their heads, the ' best' foriegn players that have signed for liverpool this summer.
As I said this cheered me up this morning.

Teddy, why is who we have signed relevant? The point was about what Brendan Rogers said. If LVG had made a similar claim then your counter-point might be relevant. But he didn't. So it aint.

I think our two signings will prove more effective than the signings liverpool have made, with regards to their impact on the respective teams.

Who have Liverpool signed that will actually improve them? Both our signings make us a better team.
