Just finished reading Ander's latest interview. That's exactly what a footballer should be. The love and passion for the game he has is admirable.

“I still enjoy football. I love football. I love my profession. What I don’t like is cases where owners prioritise their interests over the club’s. Football can’t be solely about profit. Look, no one’s stupid: no one wants to lose money but nor should it be about people getting rich off people’s dreams.” This extract seemed fitting.

Outstanding read. Ander is a real student of the game, as well as passionate about it. I like the way he spoke about being available for the ball, like he wants responsibility. Such qualities will show in time on the pitch.

He also said.
"A leader? ‘Leader’ is a big word at United. We have leaders like Rooney, Van Persie, Fletcher, Cleverly"

Whatever you think about cleverly as a footballer, you'd never say he was a "leader".

Oh so you know him personally? Leaders come in all shapes and forms and perhaps there is a very good reason why cleverley is still at the club!
