Di maria fantastic signing .
Lot of cash but top players cost top dollar .

I'd rather we signed a top CM and CB before Di Maria - but assuming they're also signed this window I think Di Maria is a decent signing.

Great signing if it happens. I am sure LVG will use him in a similar way he used Robben in the WC. That would mean RVP and Rooney fighting out for the other spot, unless Rooney fills Mata's position, and Mata drops a little deeper with Herrera next to him.

That is a problem worth having IMO. The competition for places will really improve performance levels all over pitch.

Jred, why not? I think Khedira would make a good signing, but I think MU still want Vidal. We have worked hard on Vidal all summer, so I guess we will know one way or another next week.

Khedira looks to be heading to Bayern jred. It is being suggested that the Vidal deal will come to head early next week and if not we will get Guarin who is stalling on a move to Russia.

Di Maria, would be a sensational signing. The entire club would get a massive lift and he'll finally add some speed and penetration to our attack. WOW, I'm just hoping nothing goes wrong!

Vidal won't happen now, I'd take a De Jong though, for a low cost he'd be far better than Fletch, Cleverly or even Carrick as the DM in the lineup. He's strong, aggressive and wouldn't allow teams to bully us.

Personally if we are to sign di maria I would drop rooney or play him in midfield he is nowhere near as good as mata or kagawa in the 10 role and when played up front he won't bloody stay up there and keeps dropping deep all the time

Red79, I've always liked Rooney playing just behind the main striker. If you think about it, did we really struggle like we have been when he's played there?

There is no reason why Di Maria and Van Persie can't play the role of Robben and Van Persie with Rooney playing the Sneijder role. I think Kagawa could leave now.
