This place can become quite comical at times. I mean last night there was a genuine buzz around the place. We witnessed some great goals from a young star and saw our team play some high octane football that we have all been craving. Fast forward 12 hours, and it has gone into meltdown because we are not signing a decent Barcelona back up player.

Albert Square springs to mind.

:O)

We'll come.Mr pessimist.
Meltdown is for our rivals getting stronger and stronger.
I think u r missing point there.
If sizzling depay got injured who do u have?? Young?? I hope u won't say he is batter than Pedro. If starman smalling got injured, who do u have?? Alwayinjured Jones??? I hope u won't say they are batter than otamendi.

Point is Ed and LVG is talking about having enough squad dept to compete all fronts , is this really happening?? City is getting stronger and stronger. so is Chelsea. are we targeting just 4 the like arsenal?

Sam,

to be fair when there is a bit of 'bad news' it always happens straight away, the page gets clogged up with people who pretty much never post saying 'I told you so, we are finished etc etc' and then by late afternoon the regulars come on and we realise the world hasn't ended and we move on and look forward to the next match. It is standard procedure!

Rodio, with out being rude, I think you're talking doggy doo mate. I think you have not only missed the point but you have missed the point of the point: Pedro isn't that great. He isn't world class. He isn't going to turn us into a super team. He would have given pace and more depth but that is it.

What I find comical is the lack of knowledge exhibited by some when it comes to the abilities of footballers. Anyone would have thought we have just missed out on the next big thing since sliced bread. But that isn't the case. Far from it in-fact.
And yes, I don't think there is much between Young and Pedro given the fact the Young knows the PL inside out where the diminutive Spaniard has yet to experience the rigors of the PL.

I know some of you guys liken football to the cyber world version, but in real life, things don't always turn out the same.

Now please stop the prima-donna antics.
