Could it be that Wayne Rooney is injured or is it just that everyone has decided he is too average to now train with England?.

Fresh you have it in for Rooney, what do you do when he scores for United, do you put your head between your knees and say ah no, he might only have this season left at United, do you think martial can learn from him maybe martial looks up to him and he can make martial a better player surely there's a positive for you.

I don't really ever have to worry about what I do when Rooney scores - he rarely does this season. He rarely touches the ball actually.

No doubt he has achieved a lot and has experience - but he is holding the squad back and we are having to play a formation that is not good for us because he has to play.

I said the talk from Hodgson and Neville tearing into him on Sunday looked like Rooney was going to be dropped for these games. Maybe the injury is a coincidence, but if he were to be dropped I highly doubt they would say it was anything other than for injury reasons.

We have played 8 league games, 1 league cup game and 2 champions league games and Rooney has 2 goals in those 11 matches.

He's been terrible and needs to be dropped for his and the teams sake. If he has a niggling or slight injury it's the perfect time to rest him.

Stop talking nonsense! I am aware Rooney has been terrible, but Fresh said he has rarely celebrated him scoring, he has scored 5 goals this season to celebrate.
