With the potential of a cm signing occurring soonish to complete the '4 positions', would it be feasible to see at least 2 additional signings being made?

Lozano seems odds on and I think we are all in agreement that an addition CB is needed.

Now I know he's not setting the world on fire as he was a few years back but subotic is reported as available for 4 million. That seems like a bargain for a player of his quality and experience, I think a fee of 10m would still be great in my opinion. A good player and quite possibly the perfect foil for the younger lads we have in there at the moment.

Have to say I don't see it happening but if the figures reported are correct then surely we should at least be talking to his reps? Be good to hear everyone's opinions on realistic CB options out there.

We lack a leader at the back. I don't know much at all about Bailly so I am being a bit age-ist, but I would love one of the Italians or Godin to come in. Shame Mattarazzi is finished, lol.

I think we need a real RW as well to be honest.

If Jose brings in an experienced CB and a proper class RW then he has done in one window what Moyes, LVG and SAF failed to sort in 4+ years. Glaring deficiencies and I am pleased with the progress thus far.

Subotic is another "nearly man" for me, not quite good enough to be a regular, but if we get rid of Rojo and/ or Jones he would be a decent acquisition. Pennies as well as you say.

I agree. To make our team great again, we just need:
Cm- pogba
CB- varane or stones
Rw- mahrez or Coman or sane (we need a dribbler)

Sell: mata, fellani, Jones or rojo, adnan,

Beast, the Italians are great selection of CB but I think it was vialli stated in the quarter finals that they suit the system used at juve and nationally. I would have to agree. It is hard to have any other opinion as they always play in a back 3. Would love to be proved wrong by bonnuci in our red.

Also agree about subotic, he is a nearly man when you look at his career achievements. That could be being part of a team that was raised by other clubs for its best players each year or due to not fully recovering from a few injuries. I do still think he would be an improvement on some of our choices.

Ash, varane coman/ mahrez and pogba would not just make our team great it would give us arguably the best squad in Europe.
